No dummy. Its the over all.....all time stat that tells the tale.
The “Stans” had it very hard under the commies. Even harder when left on their own. Glad to see a few medals going their way, notably Kazakhstan’s Denis Ten who took bronze in men’s figure skating. Even tho he was the only one of the top three who DID NOT FALL on his whatever they call it in the Stans.

I just saw the Jamaican bob-sled team but I’m not paying enough attention to tell you how they did. But, per the announcers, they are big celebs there so I’m sure that’s fun.
I’m much more of a summer Olympics person.
Last time I checked the list, Ukraine had only one medal. It had the second-largest population of the republics constituting the USSR.
Well yes...I dont seem to recall hearing the Norwegian national anthem too often in the regular olympics.
