FRANÇOIS HOLLANDE HALTS SAME-SEX PARENTING LAW AFTER HUGE PRO-TRADITIONAL FAMILY MARCH

In the wake of tens of thousands of people participating in pro-traditional family protests in France and throughout Europe, French President François Hollande backed down from submitting a new family-law bill to parliament that would make legal “assisted procreation for lesbian couples” and “surrogate motherhood for gay men” who want children.

The demonstrations were led by La Manif Pour Tous (Protest for Everyone), a fast-growing coalition of groups that has organized massive rallies against same-sex marriage legislation throughout Europe.

As Edward Pentin reports at Newsmax, Jean-Pierre Delaume-Myard, a spokesman for La Manif Pour Tous – who is himself gay – told Vatican Radio Friday that children are the “first victims” of same-sex marriage.

“It deprives them of a father and a mother,” he said. “The desire to have a child by a homosexual cannot justify any kind of solution to fill this gap. Every child has the right to have a father and a mother.”

Delaume-Myard added that France’s same-sex marriage legislation – known as “Taubira law” – was imposed on the French people, even by repressing opposition through violence, a charge that is currently under investigation. Claiming that “the majority of homosexuals had never asked for such a thing,” Delaume-Myard said the fact that “civil unions” have been in existence in France for years and have only been chosen by four percent of gay people in the country is evidence that same-sex marriage is not a popular cause for this group.

“I swear every time I turn around the French people are protesting en masse to force their fuched up government to back down on one sort of nonsense or the other.”

We on the other hand are all talk and no action. We’ve become the French of our imaginations.

I have heard nothing about this, not a word. Thank goodness for the Internet. Well, I envy the french, they have a President who listens to his citizens, even when they loudly disagree with him. Hollande does not use Punishment Audits to silence his critics.

I don't see a pro-traditional family march this large at all.

We in the U.S have to deal with the set-back of an Obama who acts like he is a king. He obviously has no regard for the opinions of attentive, thinking Americans. Despite his questionable background, he got where he is somehow, so why should he see a problem with children being reared with two "mothers" or "two fathers"?

Yet, maybe a huge march in front of the White House would be effective. He did backtrack a number of times on his failed Obamacare law.

I can understand two women wanting children but two men? Some heterosexual women have to convince some heterosexual men to become fathers. Gay men wanting to be parents is weird.

. . . their people have WAY more guts than U.S. citizens!

No kidding. We have same-sex marriage being imposed right now on the reddest states in the Union, but our "conservative" establishment is spending all its energy fighting Ted Cruz.

Thank GOD!

Exactly! Let us continue to pray for these protesters and their movement. Let us also pray for Americans to get as much backbone as these men and women.
