Cornyn Stumbles as Chief Fundraiser for GOP Senate Candidates
Dallas Blog ^ | 2/16/14 | Tom McGregor

As chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, Sen. John Cornyn (R.-Tx.) has taken charge of fundraising for GOP Senate candidates. However, his performance has proven to be an 'epic fail,' as Democrat Party Senate candidates are way ahead in campaign contributions. According to the Washington Times, "Democratic senators facing tough re-election campaigns this year have a significant cash advantage over their potential challengers, according to the latest finance reports — though in some of those races, the GOP candidates are at least making up ground."

Nevertheless, campaign contribution figures have also shown that Sen. Cornyn is raking in big bucks in his re-election campaign, which is raising concerns that he is more interested in bringing in big time cash for himself and not his fellow Republican Senate candidates.

So Cornyn is stockpiling to defy conservatives in his own state, while keeping senate candidates across the country drained of resources. This clown needs to be replaced. KEEP HIM BELOW 50!

The advantage of Dems is that they have unlimited cash from Obama’s slush fund, known as his “Stimulus Bill.” It’s a great money-laundering operation that served BO well in the 2012 election and will again put the Dems over the top by paying for votes.

That Cornyn was NOT REMOVED after stealing money
from GOP conservative candidates he attacked during
elections (!), shows how utterly worthless is the GOP.

Cornyn is hoarding the cash for himself because if he wins and Mitch McConnell gets the boot, Cornyn becomes Senate Majority/Minority leader in 2015. Cornyn could be raising more money for Mitch McConnell and he’s not doing it.

What a perfect scam - give $100 to a LIV then ‘ask’ for a $20 contribution all the while warning about the EVIL Pubbies wanting to cut back welfare.

Want to see a moderate Republican grow a spine and unleash a whole new world of pain on their opponents? Challenge him from the right. Fighting leftists? Eh, not so much.

That sounds about right for Senate minority Whip John Wayne McCornyn.

He is one guy that I would not want to have to count on in a battle.

Did Senator “Johnny Corn” get his fund raising advice from Loser Emeritus McCain?

He should’t be Chairman in the same year he is running for reelection.

If you know anyone who is voting for John Cornyn, please remind them that the Primary Election is March 5th.

(Yes, I know the Primary is actually March 4th, but hopefully the idiot lemmings don’t know that.)

Yeah, the ol’ Romney whoopass was entirely reserved for his primary challengers, especially Newt Gingrich. Once he had the nomination, it was like he had no fight left (probably worn out from battle with the right).

I respect ANY candidate’s will to win, and that includes Romney running a tough campaign. The fact that he literally pulled out all the stops to destroy Newt? That’s politics. What infuriates me is the way the moderates seem to reserve their ire solely for the right.

The moderates campaign like they want small government, but there’s little evidence to support their claim. They currently claim there is nothing they can do, because Democrats control the senate and presidency. Yet, we saw how the Republican moderates ruled during the Bush era. Did they roll back government? NO. They constantly expanded it.

Voters should look at Senator Cornyn’s voting record and decide if he’s done a good job before reelecting him. I know there’s a lot of frustration with our leaders, and I think all of us are served by frequent turnover in DC. Every time an incumbent goes down, it helps reign in the others.

That said, I hope we can make peace after our party nominees are selected. If Senator Cornyn survives, he’s a far, far cry better than any Democrat, aka Marxist, in my opinion. I would have no problem whatsoever voting for him if I was a Texan. On the other hand, I hope he doesn’t do like others who lost their primaries and endorse the Democrat. If he does, I guess it will prove we were right about him all along.
