Admittedly I don’t listen to Christian rap or rap of any kind for that matter, but after watching this news report I had to hear Bizzle’s new song which is a well thought out response from a Christian perspective to Macklemore’s song “Same Love.”- (the song the played at the Grammys for the big gay wedding.)

And let me say Bizzle’s new song doesn’t pull any punches at all. It treads in love but it doesn’t tread lightly. It’s quite powerful actually.

But first, watch this news report by KHOU on how Bizzle’s life is being threatened because of his new song:

Yes, indeed. Really impressive truth in those lyrics.

People said the same thing about Christians and all forms of music.

Yeah, I'm not crazy about "Christian rock" either, but at least the rock musicians they emulate aren't a bunch of murderers....however, they are drug crazed womanizers.

Besides...rap isn't even music.

Not even Christian rock. Bluegrass, country, jazz, folk, etc. Some even say any musical instrument is taboo.

Rap is a musical form, not an ideology. He is a Christian rapper. Not a murder promoter.

Rap is a musical form

Debatable! Wrong! That would require musicians.

not an ideology

Yeah, it pretty much is...glamorizing feral urban evil, violence and filth.

He is a Christian rapper.

Oxymoron. That's like saying he's a Christian Nazi.

Some even say any musical instrument is taboo.

You may be right, but I'm kinda partial to those magnificent pipe organs, classical choral arrangements, as well as a soul-stirring Full-Gospel Chorus with Gospel combo, piano/Hammond.

Reminds of a guy I knew that hated any sort of contemporary Christian music because they were too much like those worldly rock stars, but he loved his “Elvis Sings Gospel Greats”.

Same bolt of cloth as Jimmy Swaggart on TV preaching against Christian rock music then running a commercial for his new Southern Gospel album.

The true nature of homosexuality is being revealed by their very actions towards this man.

>>You would compare your sexual habits to my skin (What?!?)
>>Calling it the new black
>>Tell me where they do that
>>They hung us like tree ornaments, where were you at?
>>They burned us for entertainment, you go through that?
>>Mom’s raped in front of they kids, while they shoot dad
>>Ever been murdered just for trying to learn how to read bro? (Nope.)

Ouch. Painfully true.

You call this artist a murderer, and then you have the nerve to accuse someone of slandering you. How ironic.
