It is not for the Church to change God’s word to suit humans. It is not complicated. God has laid out a path. You either follow that path or not. Of course human beings are not happy with the path. We are flawed. We all are sinners. Many of us want our sin to be tolerated by God or to have sins grade at different levels. That is not how it works. But the Church has become weak. It fears losing numbers which means losing dollars so it tries to accomodate. The Church and the people will ultimately pay the price for this
