In Russia`s frozen far north, where nomadic families often travel deep into the tundra, medical help isn't always easy to find. That's why the air ambulance service was set up, to be there for injuries, illnesses and pregnancies. Flying a helicopter in these extreme polar weather conditions, that can change by the minute, is quite intense. RT meets the courageous flying medics of the Yamal peninsula to witness an everyday story of heroism.
