There is something screwy with this poll. Look at the full internals: Question 3 asked Obama voters if they would vote for him again. 79% said yes, 10% said no. Question 4 asked Obama voters if they regretted voting for him. 71% said yes, 29% said no. Those numbers, taken together, make absolutely no sense.

Also, Question 3 had a total of 396 responses, while Question 4 only had 35 responses. (the same thing is true of the Romney set of questions, too - the “would you vote for him again” question got 363 responses, while the “do you regret your vote?” question got only 10 responses).

I think I can figure out what is going on: Question 3 (”would you vote for Obama again?”) had 396 responses, of which between 38-41 were “YES” responses (10%, with rounding). Only those 38-41 persons who answered YES were then asked Question 4 (whether they regretted voting for Obama), of which only 35 responded, and 71% (25 out of 35) said that they regretted it. That 29% (10 out of 35) would not regret voting for Obama when they just said that they would not vote for him again is not that strange, since I can see 29% of such Obama-voting respondents thinking that while they wouldn’t vote for Obama if he ran again that they still would have voted for him over Romney in 2012.

If my analysis of the poll is correct, then the headline is ridiculously bad.
