Rep. Kinzinger criticizes talk radio's portrayal of immigration reform
WLS Radio ^

Posted on 02/18/2014 10:56:58 AM PST by Windy City Conservative

“All ya have to do is listen to some of the radio talk shows that you guys know so well where it just stirs up the base-not even the base, it stirs up part of the base,” Kinzinger said. “And they do that because they make money. They sell radio ads. Right? All ya have to do is turn on some of them and hear them talk about all this terrible stuff about America. I mean they have it on both side of the aisle. I’m not just attacking my own party here.”

“This isn’t a one time deal. Kinzinger has been all over the MSM bashing conservatives for months.”

WTH is wrong with these people? I’m so sick of being slandered by Repubs. Such as when Crist said he was in trouble w conservatives not just because he hugged Obozo but because Obozo is a black guy. That kind of attack by people in the Repub party is WAYYYY out of line and just gives the RAT party cover in painting us as racists. They are destroying their own party.
I still get calls from the GOP asking for money. These days I tell them to go to H and hang up.

I made a mistake and worked the phones for that jerk to help get him elected. Never again.

Another story on the Rino:

10-20-13

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (RINO-IL) scolds Tea Party, apologizes to Democrats

On ABC’s This Week (without George Stephanopoulos), Rep. Adam Kinzinger (RINO-IL), joins the likes of John McCain and Peter King in scolding the Tea Party movement. In doing so, he was not shy about naming names, and put the blame squarely on Heritage, Club for Growth, and FreedomWorks. He also acknowledged his shame for the (Tea Party) actions of the past weeks. A perfect GOP Judas guest for a far-left progressive establishment show.

Q: “Aren’t you humiliated by this week? Aren’t you ashamed?...Are you ashamed this week? Let’s start with you.” Kinzinger: “Yeah. I mean this has been a bad chapter.”

He also added that he is excited because Obama said he is coming to the negotiation table, and he looks forward to working with him. “It’s time for us to come together.” Good luck with that. Maybe Obama will compromise by cutting Federal spending by 50% across the board?

And to expand on his blame game, he later goes on to accuse (shouldn’t that be thank?) the “Ron Paul movement” for changes in the Republican Party. Now that is ironic, as they would never give Ron credit for anything on a show like this, but when it’s blame time, they bring on a useful guest to do the dirty work.

He also attacks FreedomWorks and Club for Growth again, with added sarcasm about the youth of some of the staff at those organizations. Got to keep those young people out of the GOP!

Interview at link below. He starts off the round table, and then gets another chance to put the knife in around the 5:20 mark.

Manzullo’s 16th District was gerrymandered in 2010, which allowed Kinzinger to expand into northern Illinois. He flooded the area with slick 4-color ads and TV spots claiming to “The Tea Party Candidate”. His primary campaign was expensive. He LIED to us. The money had to come from Cook county RINOs. Now, he rarely shows his face in the Rockford area and is doing nothing to assist the manufacturing base here. His Tea Party rating was close to 50% the last time I looked. On March 18 we all need to vote for David j. Hale, Jr. to rid ourselves of Kinzinger.

You guys had your chance to get rid of Kinzinger in 2012, and keep Manzullo. What really happened is that Kinzinger moved out of his district because it became Jesse Jackson, Jr. district. Kinzinger ran away from his old district and re-located from what I understand.

Mark Levin Rips Rep. Adam Kinzinger: “He Detest The Conservative Base”

Ulysses Arn (Diary) | September 12th, 2013

On his program Tuesday night nationally syndicated talk show host Mark Levin ripped into Illinois Republican congressman Adam Kinzinger over his recent actions which included attacking Texas Senator Ted Cruz, refusing to support efforts to defund Obamacare, and being a cheerleader for military action in Syria.

Levin would say:

Adam Kinzinger, Air Force vet, 2010 Tea Party candidate. Tea Party Republican primary candidate. The Tea Party went full-bore to get this man elected. No sooner did he get elected he dove right into the cesspool that is Washington and now he’s all over TV because he got a great column by the detestable radical leftist Dana Milbank in the Washington Compost praising him for attacking Ted Cruz. Praising him for standing up to Mark Levin and Glen Beck. Praising him because he’s taken that RINO tag baby and he’s saying challenge me. He’s telling the Tea Party in his district to go for it.

I detest people like this guy. Not for his military service of course, but for his deceit as a politician. There he was on one or two of the Sunday shows then he’s on cable TV. The man’s made a name for himself…not because he stood up on principle, not because he stared down the President of the United States when he was wrong, but because he’s sell out and they want to promote him. Look at this we’re gonna give him positive media inside the beltway. We’re gonna give him cover and he also doesn’t support quote unquote defunding Obamacare down the line the guy. He’s now Cantor’s lap dog and Cantor backed him in a primary against a real conservative(Don Manzullo) last time around and he won. So now he’s cocky you see now the people who sent him to Washington in the first place, who fought for him and muscled through the primary process to support him out of now where now he detest them. He detest the conservative base just as Boehner does.

They should run a third party against Kinzinger and replace him with a conservative in 2016.

The people who support amnesty in the house are disproportionately young and stupid. Schock, Grimm, Kinzinger, McCarthy and Cantor
http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/politics/2014/01/republican_party_plots_immigration_reform_gop_wants_to_appear_reasonable.html

“Any time you have more people and more workers, that’s a good thing,” said Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger. “The question is: Do you give citizenship to people who came here the wrong way? These programs have to be well-crafted to make sure they’re not taking jobs away from Americans, but I’ve talked to a lot of farmers who say it’s important to have legal status. Citizenship or legalization—that’s kind of the sexy issue everybody’s talking about. Maybe you give that chance [for citizenship] to their children.”

Leadership has given attack dogs like Kinzinger and Peter King free reign to salt the party base and muddle the GOP message. I can only assume because they agree with them.

You’re right The 16th District was gerrymandered after the 2010 census, so the 1st election after that was in 2012. In spite of the dates, David J. Hale Jr. needs to get elected on March 18th to replace Kinzinger.

Thanks. Did not know that much about him. I am glad conservatives want their representatives to follow through on their promises and get upset when they do not.
