If you haven’t heard of the Aspen meeting, it’s one of those gatherings of the high and mighty around the world, UN heavyweights and Hollywood nitwits and politicians with big government causes, like Giffords.

Here’s the text from that screenshot:

Boycott Pepsi; not like they it would change their sales numbers. Most people drink Coke and Dr Pepper anyway.

Is Gabby Gifford’s a useful idiot?

I hope not to offend anyone with such a suggestion. Yes I have utmost sympathy for what she has suffered through.

But it seems as if she I someone whom the liberals want to use, precisely because she was the victim of a shooting. And we’re not supposed to say anything because to say anything makes one heartless and cruel, at least in the minds of liberals, to question anything about Gifford’s efforts.

Perhaps the slogan of Gabby Giffords should be MORON LABE!

If you wish to interpret that as “come take the idiot” they would take her asshat husband. She was shot. He has no excuse. Well, maybe to much zero gravity time.

we stopped eating at ‘ARBY’S’ because they switched from Coke products to Pepsi..and the Arby’s in Somerset, PA. (right off the turnpike!!) has a TV on in the eating area and it is tuned to CNN..

WE stopped there recently and informed them we won’t be returning until they listen to their customers…NO PEPSI AND NO CNN..

USE TO LOVE ARBY’S can remember the day we got 5 for $5..five roast beef sandwiches for five dollars..it went the way of the $1.49 gas per gal.. and on and on it goes…

I contacted Pepsi re: their underwriting of the Aspen LeftFest. This is what I got back:

Dear XXXXXX,

Thank you for sharing your concern stemming from our participation in last summer’s Aspen Ideas Festival.

For background, each sponsor of the Festival is offered the chance to underwrite one evening as a part of overall sponsorship benefits. The evening that PepsiCo put our name on was an event in which journalist Andrea Mitchell interviewed Gabrielle Giffords and Mark Kelly about their lives since Ms. Gifford’s shooting. Other than to have our logo and name attached to that particular evening session, we have no relationship to Ms. Giffords or to her organization, Americans for Responsible Solutions.

I can further share that PepsiCo has never supported groups that either advocate gun control or oppose hunting.

I hope this information is helpful. Thanks again for taking the time to contact us.

Sincerely,

Margaret
Consumer Relations Representative

Bullshit, Margaret. Underwriting known gun control advocates like Giffords and her phony-baloney husband Kelly IS supporting gun control groups.

This is sort of like saying, "We wrote them a big check, but we don't support them." What weaselly scum.
