Prosecute Illegal Gun Owners
The Hartford Courant ^ | 02-12-2014 | Pam Bergren

Posted on 02/19/2014 8:34:53 PM PST by PaulCruz2016

Letter to the editor

Today's Courant says that there could be as many as 330,000 people with assault weapons who refused to register them according to the law [Feb. 11, Page 1, "Thousands Ignore Law On Gun Registration"]. Then now is the time to increase the penalty and start rounding them up.

At the first sign that someone has an illegal weapon , they should be immediately tried and imprisoned. These are the people we must be worried and concerned about -- the ones who need to keep their ownership secret.

Something wrong when they refuse to obey the law -- a law necessary for the safety of the rest of us and our children. Lots of laws are not pleasant, but we do not deliberately break them.

Pam Bergren, East Hartford

“The Authorities make something that was Legal, Illegal. They create overnight Felons, people who one day were Lawful Citizens minding their own Business and the next become Scape Goats targeted by the all powerful Government.”

That’s how fascism works. And most people in our country have no idea that we’ve all pretty much been turned into felons without knowing it and can be targeted at will.

I personally know of two horror stories here in Colorado in which the Feds harassed people mercilessly mainly because they could. Both are long stories, but one is a friend caught up in a sting of an outfitter he used in Alaska and was tangentially charged with a Lacy Act misdemeanor which he foolishly plead guilty to, and his life has been hell since, including being (wrongly) listed in a database that was the equivalent of being a terrorist.

The second was a third generation rancher in Colorado who did a land swap with the BLM (at their request), and then they turned around and literally hauled him off in handcuffs and shackles in front of a family gathering, having charged him with multiple felonies for illegal dumping on federal property because AFTER they swapped the property, they found a branch dump with branches wood and scrap metal the family had been using for decades prior to the swap. To garbage or chemicals or crap. Just trees and scrap metal. And all DONE before the feds owned the property. At the initial meeting between he and his lawyer and the feds, the butch lesbian LEO screamed and cursed at them, saying that there was a new order in the country now, and rednecks like them were no longer in charge.

If Hillary gets in, our country is over and will not ever be back until armed revolution takes it back.

I think your last thought occurred when Obama was Reelected.

Ignorance in 2008 turned into Stupidity in 2012. And yes, I know that the word “ignorance” is debatable.

There’s IS a difference. Ignorance is potentially curable; stupidity is not. I did debate about whether to call Pam stupid or ignorant, but decided to give the stupid dumbass the benefit of the doubt.

Do you get the feeling you’ve been had? Seriously. Could anyone be this much of a looney toon? What kind of news editor is going to publish something like this?
