Obama’s War on America: Killing Coal to Kill U.S. Electrical Power
Canada Free Press ^ | 2/20/2014 | Alan Caruba

If the White House and the EPA is permitted to implement the MATS regulation the economy will dramatically decline. Life in America will resemble that of third world nations. It is entirely based on lies

If you like your energy, TOO F'N bad. The "lyin' king" warned us that prices would necessarily skyrocket. One of the few things he told the truth about. For a look where we may be headed, if you have the chance, read these two articles by Dr. Ileana Johnson Paugh.

Any Republican candidates for The Senate or White House care to weigh in on this?

No? How about Tea Party candidates?

What really matters to elitists is the DIFFERENCE between their lifestyle and that of the “commoner”.

Once an elitist reaches a certain level of wealth and/or power, gaining more wealth and power is a matter of diminishing returns.

At that point, the easier way to achieve more DIFFERENCE in lifestyles is to destroy the lifestyle of the commoner.

Life in America will resemble that of third world nations.

Transforming America into a Third world nation has been the Globalists' goal for the past thirty plus years. Unfortunately, they've done a pretty good job so far.

Short answer: Shut down the EPA. It has been a political activist branch of the liberals ever since it was created, holding on to its fiefdom regardless of which political party is nominally in charge of the governance of that territory once known as “the United States of America”.

Operating largely outside the overview of Congress, and with close connivance of non-government entities, EPA is out of control and does not answer to the citizenry, much like Health and Human services, and the Internal Revenue Service, all of which are instruments of the police power of the nation-state.

The “North American Reich”, or maybe the “North American Caliphate”, is the apparent successor state to the former “United States of America”. And I am not yet ready to accept that.

This is one of the very few things Obama said he would do and is actually doing.

When running for election Obama said he would Kill the coal industry, shut down coal fired electric power generation and raise the cost of electricity to the consumer.

But people in the coal states still voted for him.
And millions upon millions who will be hit with much higher elecricity costs voted for him.

The idiot in the White House has a lot of company out in his 57 states.

And he supported (at our expense) several failed high tech companies that were supposed to build solar systems.

Our immune system e.g. congress has been completely compromised.

They are as guilty as the bam, perhaps more so.

The EPA’s current regulations have resulted in the shut down over more than 150 coal-fired plants over the course of Obama’s first term and his second represents a threat to everyone living in America. We are living through one of the harshest winters in recent years and the 17-year-old cooling cycle which the entire Earth is experiencing promises to last decades.

Commenting on the proposed carbon pollution standards for new power plants, Bonner R.Cohen, PhD, a CFACT Senior Policy Analyst laid out the reasons why MATS has no basis whatever in science.

Any regulation seeking to limit the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the Earth’s atmosphere deliberately and deceptively ignores facts that anyone can understand. Bonner spelled out the basic scientific facts, but it is essential to keep in mind that CO2 is essential to all life on Earth, providing the “food” that all vegetation depends.

“Current concentrations of CO2 in the atmosphere are 400 parts per million (ppm). Human activities in all their forms account for 4% of that total.

It’s the next obvious target after healthcare.

I saw some kind of Congressional hearing, or whatever, the other day. Just watched a couple of minutes. But Obama’s “energy czar” or some such said matter of factly “with the new regulations wholesale electric prices will necessarily increase 60-80%.”

That was pretty much it. None of the Congress critters seemed to think that might be a problem.

But people in the coal states still voted for him.

Lotta idiots there too. I have posted this on other threads, but I listen to WV public radio where they harp endlessly against coal. It was interesting during the chemical spill (MCHM) and all the hoopla after someone shot a hole in the bottom of the tank and the coal-industry-related chemical went into the stream and drinking water supply for 300k people. Because the chemical has a strong odor people were able to smell it diluted or imagine they smelled it. There was widespread panic and people going to the hospital.

But in actual fact the chemical injured nobody. It is classified 2 out of 4 like the 3% hydrogen peroxide you buy at the store. If ingested in undiluted quantities it causes temporary harm like "stumbling" and "weight gain" in rats, but no other ill effects. Obviously nearly any straight dose chemical would do that. In diluted quantities it does absolutely nothing except exhibit a slight odor much like hydrogen sulfide which is detectable in quantities far less than hardmful quantities.

The bottom line is the dolts in WV including all of the politicians fed the public a line of BS that is designed to further sour them on coal. Not once in all the coverage did they mention that the chemical is essentially harmless in the quantities that entered the water supply.

The pre-industrial concentration was 280, the rise to 400 is due to human activities. That is shown by the ocean now absorbing the gas that it used to release.

Obama and company do not want to destroy America. They want to maim it, permanently handicap it, take it down a few notches, humiliate it.

The pre-industrial concentration was 280, the rise to 400 is due to human activities.

And all the previous rises and falls were also due to human activity, going back millions of years? Or just this one?

Burning fossil fuel to release carbon means that carbon was previously in the atmosphere before the ancient plants, algae, etc captured it.
