Hall been around for awhile —he was Joan Rivers replacement in ‘87 on Fox and got his own Paramount Syndicated show in ‘89..It was on the Hall show that WJC played the Sax (I just looked that up).
Fox gave Wanda Sikes a Late Night Spot when BO first got elected.
One of her opening skit or two lines was
“I gave this guy 20 bucks and I want a return on my investment — NOW!’
and
‘He better do right, IF he screws up it will be another hundred years before they recognize a black man for anything’.
Or words to that effect....
Wanda Sykes was very funny on Curb Your Enthusiasm where all the women eventually end up yelling at Larry David. She gave me more laffs than Jerry Steinfeld ever did
