LUBBOCK, TX-- US Senator John Cornyn took a break from the capitol grind Thursday to meet with students at Lubbock ISD and to share his thoughts on the upcoming primary election.
"It's good to be back home," said Cornyn
The senator visited Estacado High School to showcase a new web-based program that helps students make wise financial decisions.
"Part of this curriculum is even being taught at the elementary school level is pretty amaznig because these are things people need to learn you might call them life skills," Cornyn said.
It's a program Cornyn said congress could even benefit from.
"One of the biggest problems Washington D.C has today is we're spending money that's not coming in the front door," he said.

This school is 93+% minority and he think helping them to make change is going to help his Senate run.
The man is a definitive liar... He opened his speech with a lie. He is just as big of a liar and fake as obama is. With his current problems and Conservatives whipping him for his lying and his progressive actions... does anyone think he truly believes “it is great to be back home”? He wouldn’t be there if he didn’t have to fight to try and keep his power and position... which he will lose because he deserves to lose and a better man is running for his seat.
