Might as well. Vote fraud will never be stopped until Republicans are seen to be benefitting from it.
Thanks everyone for your replies regarding the 8 candidates on the Republican ballot for US Senate. In my mailbox this afternoon was a multiple page brochure from the Texas Conservative Review with their endorsements. At the top was John Cornyn for Senate, but they also are endorsing a couple of others that I am leaning towards voting for: Greg Abbott & Dan Patrick. Their other endorsements not so much. Does anyone have any info on the Texas Conservative Review?
I voted for Stovall and Staples in those races.
If you are here in Texas, you should know that governor doesn't really matter. The governor has less actual power than the Lt. Governor.
The governor in Texas can't even pardon someone without getting permission from a board first.

Mostly, I'm concerned about this big expensive brochure published by the TX Conservative Review that is endorsing people I was not leaning towards voting for, i.e. Barry Smitherman for Atty Gen. I'm thinking of voting for Ken Paxton for Atty Gen. I think this is an extremely important position in these times of Fed over reach. The other thing I've learned is that the Railroad Commissioner has a lot of clout and they are endorsing Malachi Boyuls, when I was leaning towards Wayne Christian. If any TX Freepers have any insight on these endorsements, I have open ears. Thanks in advance for any info.
BTW the brochure states that they have endorsed "the most conservative candidate in each contest."
Doing some more digging, about 10 people per day hit the site.
In my opinion, they aren't anyone of any importance. I'm thinking they probably get paid by the candidates to say nice things.

Worth repeating, and it applies to all states in which early voting is an accepted practice! Republicans may be the dominant party in Texas now, but the 'rats are working diligently for a future takeover, based largely on immigration of uneducated peons from south of the border and - insofar as they can get away with it - corruption of election procedure via cheating and fraud. And, as RitaOK posted, early voting gives the cheaters and fraudsters more cracks in the system.
If it's happened in other states, it can happen in Texas. Keep on guard, Texans!
I hate early voting.
Early voting to me is being first in line on election day.
I just saw some poll numbers for Texas registered voters. Sample is very questionable and I don’t think captures Tea Party voters at all and is not reflective of turnout. Kind of Low Information Voters:
Top 3 vote getters: Cornyn, Stockman and Vega. And Cornyn isn’t close to 50%.
Please see Rita OK’s post # 6 and my post # 46. Perhaps a bit off topic for now, but relevant for the future.
Very good news, jim. A little surprised Stovall didn’t rank among the top three. Thanks, very much.
That’s why I think Tea Party isn’t getting picked up and it’s Low Information Voters being surveyed. They picked Cornyn and Stockman based on familiarity and Vega because she is Hispanic or a woman or both. I might see some better numbers tomorrow or Sunday. And I might see some Low Information Voter numbers for George P. tomorrow or Sunday.
And all politics is local. Different areas turn out for candidates from their area. What’s interesting is the Stovall base from North TX all the way down to Galveston, the Eastern 1/3 of the state.
I agree, but they must have lots of money. Now I’m concerned where they get their money. I don’t give anything to the RNC, my money goes to individual candidates, but now that I’m retired I want to be careful.
No, not necessarily. It takes very little to get a web name from Go-Daddy (that's their DNS registrar), as little as $15. A glossy mailout is cheap to put together and can go to the potential voter for less than $1. Was it sent first class? Or Bulk?
Just because some slick con man has a good front doesn't mean he's got a good deal.
I can do everything that organization can do, for less than $1000 and a dollar or two per mailer.
Me. All by myself. Technology is wonderful.

There is no question but what Cornyn will come out ahead. So did David Dewhurst come out ahead in the last GOP Senate primary.
What counts is that he not receive a majority of the votes and is forced into a run-off. Whereupon, conservatives will have a chance to coalesce around one challenger, who might then gain adequate funding to contest Cornyn in the run-off. That was the Cruz formula.
Wow. Thanks man. Awesome!!!
True. The Lt. Gov. in Texas is the most powerful person in the State. Staples is the best choice. A lot of FReepers are in love with Dan Patrick but he is in bed with the “good ol’ boys” in Texas politics and he does NOT like Ted Cruz. He did not make a formal endorsement, but, he was 100% for Dewhurst in the race between him and Ted Cruz.
Linda Vega will get most of her support from her hometown of Houston and the large cities of Dallas and San Antonio. Stockman will carry East Texas. I’m telling you, don’t be surprised if Vega knocks either Stockman or Stovall out of the top 3. But, even if she comes in fourth place, I guarantee you; she will be a big factor in forcing Cornyn into a run-off. So, I say God bless Linda Vega.
