Chris Christie to skip dinner with President Obama

Chris Christie won’t dine at the White House on his swing through Washington this weekend.

The New Jersey governor is set to leave town Sunday morning, his office confirmed, before a Sunday night White House dinner traditionally attended by governors of both parties during the annual National Governors Association meeting.

Christie sat next to first lady Michelle Obama at last year’s dinner, and drew heat from some Republicans for famously embracing President Barack Obama just days before the presidential election in 2012 as the men surveyed Superstorm Sandy damage in New Jersey.

The Republican’s schedule is under particular scrutiny this year not just because he is a likely presidential contender in 2016 but because of the traffic scandal dogging him back home.

Between Christie and Moochie, there wouldn’t have been enough to go around.

Skip dinner with Obama in favor of joining him directly in bed.

“Between Christie and Moochie, there wouldn’t have been enough to go around.”

LOL. I’ll bet Christie cut in on the rolls basket and emptied it before Moochie got her hand in it. Then Moochie refused to pass the gravy and maintained a blockade for the rest of the meal. Feuds like that don’t die easily.

IMHO...Not being at this affair is not a snub at Obama...it's a snub at the party. More repub governmors than dem.

He knows the party won't support him after the stunt he pulled.

It was embarrasing the last time they White House had an all you can eat buffet and the Secret Service had to say "No, that is all you can eat".

Stolen from John Pinette routine

(Snort)

Yeah, for Fatboy to skip dinner with anybody it must be felt really, really bad to be seen rubbing elbows with Barry again.
