But hunting is a dying art in many parts of our nation, vet. It used to be a rite of passage, but the liberal media has destroyed the idea of self-sufficiency. Many new gun owners are buying their first guns and putting them into a lockboxes for a “just in case” situation. Few are actually going to ranges to hone their skills, and even fewer are practicing long-range or tactical maneuvers.
We can all agree that the Liberals are nothing but patient. They’ve enacted their dismal agenda on America over the course of the last 100 years, and only now are the cracks starting to show. It would only take them pulling back just a little to make the people feel like they’re not losing everything, regroup, and start from a different angle of attack.
That was my point in the first post: death by a thousand cuts. Over a few generations, they can literally breed out hunters, tracking, and survival skills. I didn’t go very far through Boy Scouts, but what I learned from there as a kid I’ve parlayed into adult survival courses and extensive reading on the subject. Kids today are not being put into outdoors groups like 4H, Scouts, etc. They’re being plopped in front of TVs with digital devices at hand and made to self-entertain.
This battle for our nation is multifaceted. The idea that taking down a nation is solely at the feet of gun ownership is foolish. We’re losing battles everywhere to the liberal media and a lazy populace more concerned about handouts than self-sufficiency. I try not to be a doomsayer, but things are looking awfully dim for our republic.

The joker in the deck is the military.
Yes, there are astro-turfs, Clintonistas and other forms if intellectually inbred thumb-suckers contained therein. But, they are the minority to a very large extent.
Much of the military, especially in the trigger puller dept, come from a side of our culture that won’t take kindly to our gov rough stomping on its citizenry.
That is, imo, one of the primary motivators for large scale draw downs of the military at this time by the left.
What the idiots don’t want to comprehend is that simply removing a man from the uniform don’t, necessarily, take the fight out of him, nor forever sever him from his uniformed social circle.
But, you are correct in being concerned. Nothing’s a given. And, no “rights” belong to any people who won’t stand up and fight to the knife, and knife to the hilt to keep them.
