Thanks for the link. Moved "back"? When did he ever live in Louisiana before 2011? I know he lived in the DC area, in Albequerque, and owns a farm in Indiana. I guess that link says he had been stationed in Louisiana for "much" of his career, but that's left pretty vague.

He seems like an okay guy, but I have doubt his ties to the state are substantial enough to win a statewide election.

You may well be correct about living in LA. I don’t know any details.

His bio states:
Rob made the decision as a 17 year old high school senior to enlist in the Air Force
and served in the midst of the Iranian hostage crisis. He worked his way up from the
enlisted ranks to full colonel and retired from active duty in 2011, ending his military
service of more than 32 years. Rob and Candy came back to Louisiana to continue raising
their family where he had spent much of his military career. He currently works
in the utility industry as a director and resides in Madisonville, Louisiana.
