In the words of the late great Michael Crichton -
If it's consensus, it's not science. Consensus is politics. And if it's science, it's not consensus.

Caption from the article:
In an effort to save the planet before its expiry date of July 2017, HRH The Prince of Wales, holding an Ecuadoran stream tree frog, poses with schoolgirls in Ecuadoran-stream-tree-frog masks.
Good grief, that is pathetically comical.
It's pretty funny to be called a "headless chicken" by a guy who runs around saying the sky is falling.
Priceless.

Another great Steyn quote from the article ...
Indeed, I find it far scarier than any “climate change” that leaders of advanced western nations now go around sounding like the kind of apocalyptic loons who used to wander the streets wearing sandwich boards and passing out homemade leaflets.

His Mum the Queen either has plans to be the world’s longest lived sovereign, or maybe.....her barmy son might head off to one of his third world paradises, and mysteriously disappear.
If he does ascend to the throne, he’ll be Charles the Bewitched II.

The Global Warming/Climate Change movement is just a coercive Utopian ploy to evolve free societies towards totalitarianism. In short the movements are the latest human folly towards what we used to call fascism.
They are reminiscent of the Prohibition Movement in the United States during the earlier part of the 20th Century. When laws began to effect every single American, the emotive, eccentric, chicken-little, alcoholophobe Prohibitionists were relegated to the dust bin of History.
Likewise , Prince Charles and all of his Chicken Littles will also go the way of the Doh-doh bird.Either that or we will be driven back to the age of horse and buggy, hardly anything that any sane, practical individual would tolerate. It's one thing for the Prince of Wales to be running around like a loon - he was born to his position. Royalty's inbred enough some can be expected to wander about dressed in 'end is near' sandwich boards. BUT in the United States we're electing these idiots... You're right - that's what's really scary.
