Abusive parties sometimes use jails. They have other weapons at their disposal. The media. The alphabet agencies. The loyalists. Attorneys. Palin has been on the receiving end of them all.

Yeah, especially that alphabet agency known as the IRS. Palin's brother, Chuck Heath Jr., said the following:

"My father, who worked multiple jobs and faithfully and honestly paid his taxes for fifty years, had never heard a word from the IRS. In 2008, his daughter was tapped to run for vice president of the United States. Since that time, he has been, in his words "horribly harassed" six times by the agency. They've tried to dig up something on him but he's always operated above board."

When an attack on an intended victim might appear too obvious and risky, an old gangland tactic is to hurt a close family member.

Especially the attorneys and lawsuits; which is the only reason she resigned from the Governor's office. You know, if she ever does run for President, she will have ample opportunity to speak to the American people about that episode of Democrat dirty tricks, at the behest of Obama supporters. It will be interesting to see if her explanation changes minds about that event.
