Washington The battle for control of the United States Senate is heating up. Two primary challengers to watch are Matt Bevin fighting Mitch McConnell for the nomination in Kentucky, and Joe Carr fighting Lamar Alexander in Tennessee. The mid-terms dont get as much national press as they should considering how important their outcome is to the future of America.
America should pay attention to who is running across the country and ask serious questions about who the GOP is supporting those races. There are a number of groups that rate Senators and Congressmen overall and on different issues, helping voters to better understand the candidates.
Heritage Action is one of the groups that rates Senators. Its ratings are well respected among conservatives.
Alexander and McConnell are both Republican senators running for re-election. McConnell has a Heritage Action rating of 80, Alexander has a Heritage Action rating of 46.

How about House races?
I agree that a portion of the article was disconcerting. But I thought that the point that Joe Carr should be getting more support than he has thus far was worth making.
You won’t agree with my opinion, yes, even if a Dem wins, we give no ground.
This RINO socialist enabling of Marx everywhere has got to stop. Is no hill worth dying on? Even if a Democrat takes a race?
The Establishment is out there saying what you just said— that we should be so in fear all the time, of a Democrat winning any and every race, that we should just re-elect the RINO socialist they stick in front of us— it would be so much easier. That is their strategy, and it has worked for them.
If McConnell loses, the whole Establishment will start to come around, thinking they may be next. They will take us more seriously, as not the push overs they’ve see over the last six election cycles.
It is show time, or the party falls to Democrat II and we’ re done. We have to risk losing some battles to ever win the war.
Resistance is hard.
It is true that Alexander challenger support is needed as is the case w/ many other races v. the “Statists” and worse. However, my establishment-speak sensor was triggered.
I completely agree w/ the tactic of sacrificing the seat if a primary challenge fails with the most disgusting Quislings, which we have many of. The last attempts to save the body is sometimes cutting off appendages. We’ve been here for many years and the body is very necrotic. Put down the scalpel and give me the saw.
Two of the most important races.
Start with Katrina Pierson, Erika Harold, and Mia Love.
Dan Bongino’s House race in Maryland is one I’m watching. What other House races are on your radar? And what other Senate races?
I think we’re ALL far more serious, tactically speaking, this time around. Especially in Kentucky. I pray the people of TEXAS will cut Cornyn loose, even if he makes it to the general, because if McConnell should go down in KY, Cornyn may have potential to become another McConnell—a majority leader perhaps, comfortable with bad decisions, bad votes and foot dragging to any and every battle (except for election time).
Regardless, he needs to go.
