Caracas (AFP) - President Nicolas Maduro said Saturday that remarks by US Secretary of State John Kerry on the unrest in Venezuela gave violent groups a "green light" to carry out attacks.

In a tweet, Maduro also slammed the remarks made by Kerry late Friday as "arrogant" and "insolent."

"The government's use of force and judicial intimidation against citizens and political figures, who are exercising a legitimate right to protest, is unacceptable and will only increase the likelihood of violence," Kerry said.

That's the John Kerry we all know. Throw in "ignorant" and I'd say the picture is complete.

Seems it’s ok for our political leaders to label legitimate protests, no matter how violent in other countries as freedom fighters for democracy but if we disagree with any of them here we are domestic terrorists.

Welcome To Obama-World

Where Muslim terrorists are "Freedom Fighters".

And people who believe in the US Constitution and the law are labelled by our own government as radical right-wing domestic terrorists.
