I’ve asked some of them that and they hide behind “Separation of Church and State.” Then, if you tell them that is not in the Constitution, that it was a term coined by Thomas Jefferson, they then fall back on the Scripture where Jesus said: “Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s and unto God that which is God’s.”
