The interesting thing is that Sephardic Jews have retained the Spanish language and the jewish religion. Have the moriscos retained the language and catholic faith? Or did they revert to Islam and arabic?
I believe the latter to be the case, in which case where ever they are, they are home. Having once been an invader of a country does not give you citizenship rights in perpetuity for you and all your progeny.

The argument that the Moors can return to Spain brings up the argument that the Moors invaded Spain. That argument brings up the argument that the Gauls invaded Spain and displaced the Celtic people of Spain. The Gauls would then evict the Germanic people of Europe, so they could return there. The Germanic people would then evict the Slavic people. The Slavic people would then have to evict the Tartars. That would bring us back to around 3 or 5,000 BC. Who knows who displaced whom prior to them.
