AMen!

“.... Mr. Yanukovych’s opulent presidential palace, which he had privatized....”

Id hope that our own tyrant...in chief..would not at any point consider “privatizing The Whitehouse.

Who knew that such inspiration could from such a place.

I don't know about all of this.

I was all in favor...and then this morning I saw that John McCain had been over there in the middle of the protests.

I do not trust that man or his puppet masters.

We’ll see what ultimately shakes out.

Remember, the Bolsheviks didn’t immediately take power after the Tsar abdicated. We have yet to see who the real winner will be.

I hope and pray that the people of the Ukraine can establish a democratic, stable, independent country. I would think one of their biggest challenges will be to rid themselves of those elements that have other agendas.

Are you saying you are in favor of the Ukranian rebels? Or are you simply saying that civil unrest sometimes yields results?

I tend to be against the protestors as I think if I were a Ukranian I would want my home heated by real Russian natural gas as opposed to the non-existent natural gas that the EU can provide. Of course memories of the 1920s might take a while to fade away...

Thank you, and thank God for the United States.

Now if more of the U.S. (the people in it) could better recognize what we have here in comparison to most other places (and I'm not speaking of material wealth) and how and why it came to be (and what the alternatives really are) I'll be not so inclined towards praying "beam me up-- I'm surrounded by IDIOTS!"

Obviously we don’t know where this is going to lead, but step one was getting rid of the corrupt government. Appears to me the people took this on themselves. Don’t know if foreign powers are involved, but no doubt Russia, Europe and the US are not disinterested parties. I’m praying the people and independence win out.

A European Conservative commentator said yesterday: “This is the kind of uprising that the people of the West are no longer capable of!”

Because don’t forget that the corrupt oligarchy of Ukraine had been democratically elected. Just like ours.

I saw a map that's going around on Facebook that shows all the pipelines that run through Ukraine. So McCain is over there for the same reason he was in Syria, which is also Putin-controlled oil reserves. He's doing his damnedest to get us in the middle of another world war. Anything to prevent drilling for our own oil!

I don't know much about Ukraine, but I remember the former President over there who was poisoned. Yushchenko. I had always assumed what with the poisoning and all that he wasn't a fan of Putin. He was ousted in 2010. Apparently, he's also on the outs with this Yulia Tymoshenko that was just released from prison. Does anyone here know anything about her?

“Contemplate the mangled bodies of your countrymen, and then say ‘what should be the reward of such sacrifices?’ Bid us and our posterity bow the knee, supplicate the friendship and plough, and sow, and reap, to glut the avarice of the men who have let loose on us the dogs of war to riot in our blood and hunt us from the face of the earth? If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!”

Posted by Jeff Head:

Watch this video. It is long, but it shows brave Ukrainian people advancing and making gains in the face of heavy fire and loss. Dragging their wounded and dead comrades out of the line of fire even as more go down. Would to God they had a whole bunch of our 300 million firearms in this country to return the heavy fire they were under. But they advanced just the same. Folks...this is what liberty and unalienable rights cost...a willingness to do what these people are doing. God bless them. God rest them. God help us remember what our own forefathers taught us and be willing to stand.

Now that they’re done with Lenin statues, I read this morning, they’re starting on the Red Army statutes which are all over Ukraine as well.

In other news, Russian parliament DUMA shed no tears for Yanuk, and said (who I’m not sure) that Yulia Timoshenko should be President of Ukraine.

More, on Maidan some leaders don’t want Timoshenko, and declared themselves in opposition to the new government.

And in eastern Ukraine, Berkut were treated like heroes.

(Those are just headlines I picked up on my Facebook page from European connections.)

As long as half the nation keeps and bears arms, the Federal Government will never escalate things to the point of a tire burning, cobblestone throwing, molotov cocktail tossing mob.

It is far easier to degrade the population into compliant slaves with slow steady pressures such as faggot marriage, zero tolerance policies in government schools, twerking on national television, and selling a "where be my free sh*t" entitlement voting block said free sh*t by collateralizing debt using the lives of the great-great grandchildren of the productive.

If I am wrong... fine. I just hope someone brings an RPG to Washington D.C. to take out the sniper that will be shooting at us.
