I can appreciate a morbid/irreverent sense of humor. This doesn’t bother me in the least. His apologizing for it offends me more. The perpetually offended apology mongers and those that surrender to them offend me (they owe me an apology!).
HOWEVER, this idea of pretending that conservative Senator Pat Roberts is some kind of piece of crap that needs to be replaced by some random dude who can’t shut up about how he’s Obama distant relation (isn’t that special) is RIDICULOUS.
Meanwhile, a TRUE sub-par Republican, Lamar Alexander, has a very good challenger, who is getting approximately 10% of the attention being giving by freepers to Dr. Wolf (or is Saint Wolf, Avenging Angel?). As Jim Traficant used to say, beam me up.
Now, to look at Pat Roberts’s Conservative ratings, he looks like a strong-to-very-strong Conservative. I wasn’t aware that he was a RINO.
I guess those ratings systems are very flawed.
