No matter what the liberal left’s do, including the global warming zealots, if you speak against them in any way, shape of fashion, they will do what they can to destroy you. Krauthammer is no exception. They don’t like the fact that ol’ Charles has people who actually listen to what he says and believe it, unlike the liberals. The libs are afraid of Charles, he gets his message UNDERSTOOD.

With liberals, all progressive ideas are viewed as "settled". You simply can't have a meaningful discussion with them or disagree with their dogma. Skeptics are quickly dismissed as ignorant neanderthals.
Liberals are the keepers of the truth and enlightenment and serve as the great protectors of mother earth and all its inhabitants. /sarc

Perhaps it's worth noting where this technique was legitimized (if not 'invented' :)
The smartest woman in the world from Arkansas.

Reminds me of a fascinating quote from a Chinese Com government during the "International Woman's Conference" held in China during the Clinton administration.
The government official said that they studied Hillary's speechmaking method to understand her power and success. They concluded: her trick was never actually to make any arguments -- just state conclusions that were all already accepted as self-evident by her audience. (They found that interesting and perhaps admirable, and to be emulated).

Un fortunately, all the demagoguic candidates seem to have picked up on the theme; the manipulators, the “politicians,” the frauds, who don’t deserve to be in any elected office or position of authority.

And then there's this :
In one of his lecture series gems, Richard Feynman, scientist, philosopher and Nobel Prize Winner, touches upon this low level of scientific mentality and historical perspective.
"Looking back at the worst times [in history] it always seems that they were times in which there were some people who believed with absolute faith and absolute dogmatism in something. And they were so serious in this matter that they insisted that the world agree with them. And then they would do things that were directly inconsistent with their own beliefs in order to maintain what they said was true.

Liberals are nothing if not hypocites. World class hypocrites. And they are particularly skilled in the use of broad sweeping generalizations and convenient vagueness. In their deceitful world, dogma triumps over facts.
