NBA Hall of Famer and TNT commentator Charles Barkley said on Friday that he believes "thug" and "street cred" are racial slurs that are equivalent to the "N-word."

According to this BOZO (racist -refers to clowns?) that could ‘slam dunk flat footed (racist), set a HR record (racist), take Uncle Ben’s and Aunt Jemima (still around?) off the shelf, do away with peanuts (the goober not the comic strip), unretire #42, take down all pictures around stadiums and ball parks that are of Blacks. and
MAINLY DO AWAY WITH MLK BIRTHDAY, BLACK HISTORY MONTH(S), KWANZA (Prefer FESTIVUS anyway),
The less we see of Blacks and/or Black History, the chances of uttering a PERCEIVED racial slur will drop considerably. Saying Good Morning to a Black will be considered ‘RACIST’ because you know that if one is Black they have been so oppressed so as it is impossible to have a good morning etc etc...
OF course, then we will be ‘RACIST’ because we refuse to acknowledge or talk about anything to do with Blacks.

Actually, I think mispronunciation of ‘negro’ is the origin of the ubiquitous “N” word.
As a child, when I used to hear LBJ, Bull Connor, George Wallace, etc. say ‘negro’ on the tv news it was almost indistinguishable to my ear from the racial slur.
The again, it WAS the 1960s, so maybe they were actually using the racial slur during Cronkite’s broadcast... ;-)

As an added inducement to speak “correctly”, we will receive a electrical shock for each word that is found suspect...and a fine. Not only is this barkley creep a fool, he is a thug.

Nigger is just a poor pronunciation of the word Negro which is nothing more than the Spanish word for black.
Being that the South adjoins Spanish speaking mexico, it stands to reason that whites simply heard the Mexicans calling the blacks Negro (which means black) and started using a it and it eventually morphed into Nigger.

We could develop “Protocols of Severity” - delivering a very mild shock at first, with the severity of the shock increasing with the frequency, repetition and offensiveness of the ‘incorrect’ words used. And of course, we’ll need to continually add to the list of ‘incorrect’ words.
