"Take down the sign or go to jail. We do not approve of guns...or you." This is the unmistakable messages sent by progressives when they take over a city's government and freedom pays the price. Ares Armor is a small tactical store operating one of their stores in National City, CA, a suburb of San Diego. Nevermind that CEO Dimitri and his staff at Ares Armor are in complete compliance with all laws and ordinances. That does not matter. That's because guns are at the heart of this debate. The City Council has taken offense to their presence there and is pulling out all the stops, perverting the legal system to destroy them. But Ares Armor stands unbowed and has paid $10,000 just in the appeals process just seeking justice. Dimitri, a combat USMC infantry vet from both Iraq and Afghanistan, stands in defiance of this attack on both 1st and 2nd Amendments rights. And yet he faces an uphill and expensive battle with slim odds (note the so called "appeal" process he discusses). As you will see in the video, the City has made up there mind and anything related to guns is unwelcome in this Califonia dystopia. We discuss this case study to the communist (progressive) mind and consider how hypocrisy and injustice are welcomed in dealing with both the 1st and 2nd Amendment. This event in a small corner of California is symbolic of some big issues and shows what can happen in YOUR town too. As promised, TNP rolls in hot to help out the 2nd Amendment in California.////////////////Please contact the Council people below to wake them up to their unconstitutional actions and perhaps save this American small business that serves law abiding citizens, military, and LE customers:///////////City of National City, 1243 National City Boulevard, National City, CA 91950 City Council Email: Council@nationalcityca.gov Phone: 619-336-4235

Sorry for formatting. I will try to format it below.
Wonder what the national outrage would be if republicans did this to an abortion clinic?
Dude, give me a summary instead of asking me to watch a 44 minute video, please.
Yea, way too much youtube’ing going on for simple things, and I’m not referring to this post, just the generalization brought up about summaries vs time consuming advertisement laden youtube videos.
Formatting fixed and here is the summary. You can also watch only the first 15 minutes of the video to get the point.

That is it.
For $10,000 he could have initiated a lawsuite and gotten a Injunction against the city council while the suite is in progress.

A different sort of gun store...
People line up to legally make untraceable guns [excerpt]

SAN DIEGO - A long line of people snaked out of a North County machine shop on a recent Sunday. The customers were there to build a gun.
Customers do not get to the machine shop until after they are checked out by Ares Armor in Oceanside. Team 10 promised not to reveal the location of the actual machine shop.
Dmitri Harris runs the Ares Armor store, along with his buddies, some Marine Corps infantry veterans. The shop is busy because more people are finding out about the chance to build your own gun without having to go through any registration or government signups of any kind.
It is possible because of the Gun Control Act of 1968. It reads, “an unlicensed individual may make a firearm,” but also says it has to be for personal use and cannot be for sale or distribution.
Harris warns that not everyone can build their own gun. Non U.S. citizens, felons or anyone disqualified from gun ownership cannot participate.
I really wish they had something like that here in Silicon Valley.
That's fine at the federal level. The state of CA may well create a law that says you must be licensed to do so within the state of CA. Last year I purchased a new rifle that should have been just fine inside CA. I carried it from my home in Idaho with the intent to enjoy it at the indoor range in San Diego. I was too busy to do so. Just before I was ready to return home to Idaho for Christmas, the radio ads reminded prospective gun buyers in CA that long arms registration starts Jan 1, 2014. I took my new in the box rifle home. Still unfired to this day. There is no end to the reasons that I sold my house in San Diego and left for Idaho.
There may be some light at the end of the tunnel. It appears my 4 year long engagement is about to end as my employer and customer choose to close up the San Diego operation.
They sell 80% lowers for 50 bucks and up.
You just have to drill ‘em out and do a little minor milling.
It takes some patience and a little skill.
Too many people are pushing lefties to outlaw homebuilt receivers with all kinds of puffy talk. Shhhhhhhh.
Violates freedom of speech. Official oppression, under color of authority; conspiracy to deny civil rights under color of authority. Censorship. Etc.
Obviously a young writer without a sufficient command of the language to know that 'nevermind' isn't a word. It's the name of a grunge album.
I saw this somewhere else a couple days ago.
.02:
What an opportunity for free publicity.
Me? I’d make a 2000%-scale AR and put it in the sign’s place & call it ‘art’...or even bigger using a 20ft bipod as the foyer at the base.
No sign needed after this charade; everyone will know who & where they are.
