At the Supreme Court, a royal mess for ‘King Barack’

It has the makings of a royal mess for “King Barack.”

Monday morning’s Supreme Court argument about the Environmental Protection Agency’s authority to regulate greenhouse gases went badly for the Obama administration — so much so that the real question before the justices seemed to be how severe the EPA’s loss would be.

The administration’s solicitor general, Donald Verrilli, pleaded with the justices to recognize the “urgent problem” of climate change, because the “threat to future generations gets worse” with each passing year.

But as the argument played out, the court’s swing justice, Anthony Kennedy, made clear that he agreed with the conservatives that the administration had gone too far in its carbon-dioxide regulations. Even some of the liberal justices voiced skepticism about the Justice Department’s position.

“I know litigants hate this question,” Justice Sonia Sotomayor told Verrilli. She asked which of two rationales he would prefer “if you were going to lose.”

“I knew you were going to ask me that question,” the solicitor general replied.

I thought SCTOUS already ruled on this. How is this case different from Massachusetts v. EPA, 549 U.S. 497 (2007)?

Good luck surviving with no electricity and GE modified seeds.
Okay, I’m curious. How does low, or no sunspots, translate into “no electricity”?

King Obama has decreed the shutdown of the coal and oil industries providing fuel for the generation of electricity because he claims they produce carbon dioxide emissions causing Global Warming and Climate Change (Anthropogenic Climate Change AGW). King Obama is a Denier when it comes to the science of Global Cooling when the Earth’s climate goes into the extraordinary little ice age for a period of decades or centuries in response to the cyclical weakening of the Solar magnetic field and ceases the normal production of Sunspots for prolonged periods of time.

we all know the truth of the matter, the unadulterated grasping of power/$$$$.
It seems even the pResident 0'Muslim's Marxists minions on the USSC can't
swallow the spiel/arguments of Michael Mann's climate claptrap..but you never
know, maybe NYT/WaPo/0'Muslim can "coerce" spineless John Roberts to their side.

I get that part. The part I don't get it how lack of sunspots affects coal production or the production of electricity?

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

Obama IS King.

Laws are supposed to made by the Congress, which is
just too busy with its child brothels, Ambien,
alcohol, and TREASON.

The Supreme Court has screwed us before. Remember how the openning arguements went well against obamacare. Roberts stabbed the American people in the back on that one — what is different now? I’m sure that NSA data they collected is still good for blackmailing him.

IMO, NONE of those black robed pseudo intellectuals belong in that magnificent building which was built to house the final arbitrators of justice in the country.

The only thing supreme about the occupants of this Supreme Court are their massive ego’s and sense of grandiosity.

And how many people have already died and will die because of Roberts' corruption? There is blood on his hands and in an alternate remade America, Roberts would be put on trial for his crimes and spend his days in a small windowless cell.

Gee, didn’t the press report that the Obamacare hearings went badly for the administration too?

Don’t worry, the libs will support their man and Justice Roberts will find a miracle theory to allow the EPA to continue to simply line-out text of the law and replace it with text they prefer.

Then certain elements will tell us how Brilliant Roberts was by laying a trap that the EPA will fall into.

From the Article: 'The solicitor general assured him that “human beings are actually net neutral on carbon emissions,” so “it doesn’t matter how many family members you have.”'

What BS. Humans emit carbon dioxide and are not net neutral. So the solicitor is lying. The administration is speaking out both sides of it's mouth as usual.

Who’s got faith in the Supremes? What with Roberts tearing up the constitution and the majority declaring against carbon dioxide, not to mention their consistent support of killing the unborn.

The Latina was not at The State of The Union. All is not well in SCOTUS land. The reason given was that she was in Cal. judging a Moot Court contest.

Alternatively, it illustrates to the justices that the administration knows the congress will never legislate in it’s favor on carbon lies. Faux science will not prevail in the congress
