In the recent film "American Hustle," which is based on FBI informant/conman Mel Weinberg and the controversial 1980's Abscam investigation resulting in the conviction of seven congressmen, a key figure in the movie is based on the conman's late wife, Marie Weinberg.
In the film, her character is portrayed as a drunken adulteress, who has been described by those involved with the production as "manipulative," "really sick," and "crazy." However, the truth is something far different. The real story had ended in tragedy.
By 1981, the Weinbergs were living in central Florida, and Marie discovered that Weinberg had a longtime mistress, Evelyn Knight, 39 (and 11 years Marie's junior), who he had set up in a condo 15 miles away.
The name "Weinberg" was posted out front, and she soon discovered that Knight had legally changed her last name to her own. Marie had been devoted to Weinberg and their son. I, as did others, knew her as a kind, generous and friendly woman.
Weinberg immediately began to warn her to remain quiet, because a movie deal was planned for John Belushi to portray Weinberg as a hero. He also wanted her to remain silent about the fact that he had extorted expensive gifts and pocketed bribe money during Abscam, something that others were alleging, and the FBI then began to harass Marie as well, both by phone and in person.
She immediately moved for a divorce, and fought back the only way she could: by going public. She turned to investigative reporter Jack Anderson and myself, and the intimidation from Weinberg soon became both public and private. After a number of explosive articles, she appeared on ABC's 20/20 in January 1982.

Hollywood always lies.
The American film industry in Hollywood loves their criminals and conmen, and very often portray them in a favorable light.
This necessitated the demonization of the sick little b*stard’s wife and led her to suicide.
It’s the same mindset that attempts to demonize the Tea Party, the military, and all who espouse religion while celebrating drug addiction, abortion, unbridled sexual promiscuity and the vast machinery of our countless Marxist government power mongers.
The funniest thing about ABSCAM is that the politicians could have thought this guy was an Arab Sheik. On the tapes he looks about as real as Belushi's Samurai Room Clerk, and has a stage Yiddish accent that is pure Catskill shtick.
He didn't fool Jim Florio and Tom Foglietta! (If you are really a Philly Guy and know who the Chicken Man was, you'll know what I'm talkin' 'bout.) The guys he fooled deserved it!

The film American Hustle never claimed to be historically accurate, but merely inspired by historical events. “Partly true” I think is the way they described it.

Most people know this but can’t put their finger on it or understand how to frame it and say directly:

“No one wants their time wasted or to be taken advantage of”
I’ll leave it to you for pondering the details of that.
I hate having my wasted or being taken advantage of.
To be sure, I have been late for things but, I don’t have the habit of being late.
Those who do inform us, by their consistent action, they view themselves as more important than others and/or are just plain consciously careless with others time.
Same for people who drone on and on. Wasting my time and taking advantage of me for the sole purpose of hearing themselves and usually it indicates a complete incompetence of their knowledge and ability about what to do next.
They actually derive a sense of self importance if they spend aggravating amounts of time engaging someone and think that time was valuable.
It’s not and demonstrates an inability to be careful with others time and makes work so much order than it needs to be.

Having chumps constantly allude to a promise over and over and over again but, never actually crossing the road to complete their implied benefit to you.
I could go and am talking about no one in particular.
SíSí Señorita. Bruce who now has perhaps 7 chords under total control, is definitely a hard working musician from the Jersey-Philly milieu and has the awful accent to prove it. If you need a hero from the area,I recommend you go with Jack Nicholson.
