Employer said he had not expected non-Arab to carry name of late Iraqi leader
A Saudi employer was surprised when he found that an Indian he had just brought to the Gulf Kingdom to work at his supermarket is called Saddam Hussein.
The employer said he had not expected a non-Arab man to carry the name of the late Iraqi leader, adding that he had not checked the name when he signed his papers.
I have not even expected to meet any one who carries the name of the late Iraqi president, the unnamed employer told Sabq newspaper.
It quoted the employee at the shop in the central Saudi town of Al Dawami as saying his father decided to name him Saddam Hussein because he admired the late leader.
I was born just after the end of the (1980-1988) Iran-Iraq war.
I think Jeb Bush should draft this guy for a running mate.
A really smart and successful guy told me in late 2007:
There’s no Godd@mn way the American people are going to elect a guy named Hussein....
It just goes to show you how much younger a feller looks without a beard.
