Mr Begg, 45, who was held by the US authorities for almost three years, was arrested earlier with two other men and a woman in the West Midlands.
He was detained on suspicion of attending a terrorist training camp and facilitating terrorism overseas."

Four British men held at Guantanamo Bay for three years as “enemy combatants” have been freed by UK police.
Martin Mubanga, Feroz Abbasi, Richard Belmar and Moazzam Begg were being reunited with their families at a location of their choice, police said.
The men, from Birmingham and London, were questioned at Paddington Green police station after returning from Cuba but were released without charge.
The US accused them of having al-Qaeda links and says they are still a threat.”

Late last year it was reported the Home Office had confiscated Begg’s passport after he visited Syria.
He claimed he was stopped at Heathrow airport on a return trip from South Africa and told his passport was being taken as it was “not in the public interest” for him to travel.
In December Begg, a father of four, used his blog to describe how he made multiple visits to Syria in 2012 and said he had met British fighters there.”

The US released these four “upstanding” British citizens/immigrants in to the hands of the British police/government (probably following a campaign of serious diplomatic/political pressure).
Then, instead of taking a long, hard, look at whether they actually did have terrorist ties, they kissed their a$$es, handed them a pile of British currency and turned them loose to prey on their own country.
This sounds like a classic case of reaping what they have sown.
