Linda you are right. There’s some sketchiness about it all.

I looked at the original report in the Topeka newspaper, which was particularly harsh, and also the versions in New York Post and the Daily Mail.

There was also a report and a bit of commentary on the Hot Air website which recounts the story with an air of ruefulness similar to what I felt upon hearing about it.

The facebook page has been taken down so follow-up is difficult, certainly for one as computer unsavvy as I.

A doctor, who posts XRays on his Facebook page, then chats with other of his "friends" alerts me about his professionalism.

Knowing that Facebook is public, I wonder about the judgement of any doctor who feels comfortable doing it.

HIPPA rules will not allow my doctor or a lab to discuss my medical results for anything with my own family member, how does a professional decide it's OK to post my "family" member's XRay on a social website, much less make jokes about the cause of death.

I’ve seen medical IT operations, and HIPAA is really strict about protecting the confidentiality of what they call PHI. Personally identifiable health information.

An anonymous X-ray doesn’t count.

It sounds like he was training med students. I think when you see horrible things like this all the time you have to detach from the horror of it. Maybe he was making lite of it to his students, so they were not shocked by what they saw. Doctors have to detach from all the death and horror they see or they could not do there job. I’m sure in reality he felt pity for the person lying on the table and sometimes laughter/humor veils anxiety. We have doctors and RNs in the family and I know they are under a lot of stress. Humor sometimes releases stress.

OK.

Thinking about MA, if you desire to rid yourself of an elected politician, how comfortable would you be if I, some others from KS, OK, ID and AR get behind someone that doesn't live too far from you and other friends whom you know very well, have met the guy, don't like him, know he's never done anything for anyone! He now runs his mouth off, name dropping and pretending to be this big conservative, when you and others who do know him well, know he is NOT.

How do you feel knowing I and others tell you that if you don't get behind him and support him, you must be a RINO, simply because you don't agree with us, who don't know him at all?

Sounds plausible. An emergency physician has probably seen the worst of the worst. Gallows humor would almost be de rigueur. He’d be weeping himself to pieces otherwise.

One can go crazy trying to chase down every nuance of appearance in a life that is dedicated to anything of consequence. If he has made a mea culpa for taking medical student talk into the general public and repented, this may be as good as we can get.

No, but it does preclude a successful election run by either a rino or teaparty candidate.

All you are doing is perpetuating what the GOP-E and the DNC want, to make sure that conservative candidates cannot win.

The next question has to be: How far back does a mistake have to be for it not to be relevant?

4 years, 8 years, 10 years?

What you want to bet that whatever that standard would turn out to be, both the DNC and the GOP-E would keep pushing it back to suit their purposes?

As a conservative, you should never give the enemy help.

You are doing just that by supporting this "rule". And supporting it you are.

BTW, it wasn't Romney's "47%" comment that lost the election, it was his Progressive Liberal record, his support of Abortion and the Gay Agenda during the general election run-up, his sabotaging conservatives in the Primary, his refusal to fight Obama, and finally, his abandonment of the base so he could curry favor with moderates/liberals in a completely stupid attempt to get their votes.

In short, he was a piss-poor candidate from the git-go, the only candidate that was absolutely guaranteed to lose because he really isn't a republican, as his record shows.

So, who are you supporting/volunteering for in the Senate race, in KS? Thanks.

Jane, I am so surprised that ZeroSix has had the time to keep posting on this thread but refuses to answer your post.

What's that word I'm looking for????

Oh, that's right, It's so UNEXPECTED.

Very well stated. Who hasn’t made a joke in a bad situation? Laughing to not cry.

It doesn’t seem right, but it is human nature. Maybe, that is why he took it down so quickly.

Also, Facebook was very new. The understanding of it wasn’t widely understood. It still isn’t.

if the information didn’t have identifiable information and he thought it was a closed group, I don’t see that he did anything that would make him a bad representative. There are far worse ones already in both houses and the White House.

“How do you feel knowing I and others tell you that if you don’t get behind him and support him, you must be a RINO, simply because you don’t agree with us, who don’t know him at all?”

When have I done that? My goal is a more conservative US Senate. A third of the senate is up for election every second year (we have a couple of extras this year because of SC, HI and OK). To achieve a more conservative senate, those currently sitting in those seats should be scrutinized. Democrats are a given. Every one of them needs to be replaced, if possible. That leaves the republicans, and they should not be allowed to just get reelected or go unchallenged because they’re in republican states and we want to safely keep those seats. Because that makes those senators arrogant and will represent, not the state or their constituents, but themselves.

I don’t know you any more than I know Wolf or Roberts. Roberts may indeed win over Wolf, but in the past, politicians have more easily gotten reelected because nobody knows somebody else is running against them. So I post stories on FR to keep people informed of what’s going on with these primary challenges across the country.

I want a change in leadership and Roberts will vote for McConnell so I’m advocating for his removal by supporting Wolf. But I have absolutely no real influence whatsoever in Kansas other than to let those on FR know that their senator has an opponent.

Eh, I am also tending to a sick family member, answering phone calls and working from home in between right now so can't answer everyone, SoCon.

Do you have a problem with my non-response to Jane yet, or are you another out-of-state Wolf supporter claiming that if we, who know him, don't want him, must answer to your satisfaction or be RINOs?

Pardon me, I wasn't stating that you were but was poorly attempting to make a similar hypothetical situation that we in Kansas now find ourselves by not supporting Wolf, a guy we know and don't want, being forced to accept as a conservative candidate.

Let's those of us here who have been, if not friends, at least friendly since at least 1998, not become advisories over our conservative candidates.

The bottom line on this is that rinos would rather a democrat win than a true conservative. Proof: look how the rnc pulled funding from conservatives who won the primary. This might be why, if the rnc continues to move left and destroys conservatives, a third party may be necessary. Rinos don't care a bit about our values. They care about having power and making deals to get rich. If they had there way they would side with democrats on a abortion, ssm, amnesty, the debt.....just so they don't have to fight over the issue. They don't care one iota about us people. They use us like a cheap whore and the bad thing is some people enjoy it.

IMHO, the major point of contention between Conservatives is the differing level of tolerance each of has for silently allowing elected Republicans or Independents to act as submissive doormats for violators of the US Constitution.

IOW, what level of tolerance does each of us have, when exceeded, that will put the elected Republicans who do nothing to oppose violations of the US Constitution in our personal category of “Do Nothing RINOs?”

For example, my level of “Do Nothing RINOs,” (DNR), tolerance was forever exceeded during the Primary Campaign of 2012.

Full disclosure:
* I will not vote for “Do Nothing RINOs” ever again.

* I shall just leave their slots blank on the ballot, as there is no effective difference between a Do Nothing RINO and a Democrat.

At each time during the past five years of critical voting the Do Nothing RINOs in the House and Senate have voted with the Democrats to approve the violation of the US Constitution being voted on.

Their usual defeatist whine is: “We can’t do anything because we do not have control of the Senate or White House.”

The Do Nothing RINOs were given FIVE years to do something and did nothing.

Now it is our turn.

IOW, the Do Nothing RINOs and the Democrats vote together as a single, unshakable, voting block to rubber-stamp whatever Obama wants to do to “Fundamentally Change the United States of America.”

RINOS ARE THE OBAMA TROJAN HORSE TROOPS PARTY

The “RINOs” are really just Trojan Horse troops sent in for token show by Obama.
They do as they are told to avoid Left Stream Media jeers.
John “The Doormat” Boehner has his paranoid fears:
Obama and the Left Stream Media Journalists will drive him to tears.

And then there is “Capitulation” Cantor,
With a soft Virginia Drawl,
Who wears patches on his knees
From his frequent Cave-In crawls.

Don’t forget “No Resistance” Ryan,
Appeasement is his long suit.
No wonder “Romneycare” Romney
Was such a big Ryan fan.

Obama’s Trojan Horse is now filled with House RINOs,
All promising that in 2014 they will ALL be silent.
The Republican’s RINO Rove, and “Wacko Birds” McCain,
Act as the Loyal Rear Guard for the Obama Trojan Horse.

What have we here? So say the skeptical.
Forward, ever FORWARD rolls the Obama Trojan Horse,
Crushing the Constitution, all Checks and Balances, and all who complain,
While the RINOs in Obama’s Trojan Horse stay always silent. and do not complain.

Did Obama capture the House RINOs inside his Trojan Horse?
Or did the Loyal RINOs stampede on to get there first?
The “What” and the “Why” are just idle chatter,
The RINO Five Years of failure, is what the to voter matters.

With only two plus years left to Impeach Obama,
Can the Trojan Horse House RINOs be trusted,
What the Constitution requires elected Stewards to do?
Or will re-elected House RINOs just continue the destructive Obama trauma?

The peak Taxpayer “Rage Day” is April 15, Every Year.

For the 53 % who still pay personal Federal Income taxes, I say “Put y’alls Tax Rage to work and get rid of Obama’s TROJAN HORSE John “Doormat” Boehner” on Imperial Democrat Tax Day, April 15, 2014.

As for timing, the new fire-in-the-belly, Speaker of the House can then, with great and detailed TV Fanfare, draw up the necessary Articles of Impeachment on Soetoro-Obama to be officially filed on the Grandest of all Patriotic Days, July 4, 2014.

Then the 2014 Campaign will be going on along with the following:
* Obama’s Impeachment trial;
* Pro-Obama Impeachment street protests;
* Pro-Military street protests;
* Pro-Privatization of “Entitlements” street protests;
* Anti-Coverup of Benghazi Murders street protests;
* Anti-Coverup of Fast and Furious murder street protests;
* Anti-IRS street protests;
* Anti-NSA street protests;
* Anti-Holder’s DOJ street protests;
* Anti-Bypass Congress street protests;
* Anti-Judge Robert’s street protests;
* Anti-Obamacare street protests;
* Anti-Trojan Horse RINOs street protests; and
* Anti-Democrat Party street protests.

I take it neither of you two self-righteous posters have ever done something stupid?

I've done plenty of stupid things. And I am not running for office, thought I have been involved. This is not surrender monkey thought. I just think that the "tea party" faction ought to be more careful in vetting. I'm no fan of Roberts, I just wonder if there is no more qualified person than Milton Wolf in the entire state of Kansas.

The rinos and democrats would find fault in Jesus. Remember him overturning the tables? He’d never be able to run. Every single person that has lived has done things they shouldn’t have, except Jesus. When you meet that perfect candidate who hasn’t made a mistake let us know. We are expecting the return of Jesus.

“I hate that we throw potentially good candidates away because they don’t fit the establishment.”

Apparently, if you are a conservative challenger, signing a corporate report with favorable comments about the bailout (Bevin) or posting anonymous x-rays (Wolf) are enough to disqualify you. However if you are a liberal or moderate GOP squish who has been a Democrat fellow traveler for decades, that can be overlooked.

I’m not buying it.

If Bevin and/or Wolf are elected and turn out to be as bad as McConnell and Roberts, we haven’t lost anything. If they turn out to be at least somewhat truthful about their conservative positions, it’s a net plus.

I support Bevin, Wolf, Cochran, Carr, Brannon, Bright et al. unless someone can point to me a conservative in any of those races with a better chance of winning.

What I’m saying that, the left would put their people in the crowds to start trouble and blame it on conservatives. Like hitler did. Lots of cameras would catch the face of the real troublemakers. This will eventually happen. O wants to stop us and paint us as terrorist. He’s obsessed with his hatred for Christians and most good Christians are conservatives.

Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
Matthew 10:16
