Facebook and Instagram are "in talks" about gun control with Michael Bloomberg's Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG) and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America (MDA).
MAIG and MDA want both social media sites to "prohibit the private selling or trading of guns on its platforms."

Facebook is Evil
While I do have to agree that there are a lot of people that put FB to good use, there’s still a lot of no/lo info idiots out there that are easily swayed by glitzy sparkling ads which nannie bloomers and the MAIGgot nazis can afford to pay for. So are the mda’s naziettes?
Friends are amazed that I’m not on Facebook.
I love them dearly, but they are truly clueless.
I think we should create lots of facebook gun clubs and start instagraming thousands of firearms photos at the same time. These liberal nazis will not disarm us.
It’s like inviting fools to undress in public and reveal their most intimate secrets. If I were representing a client in a lawsuit, the first thing I’d do would be check his adversary’s Facebook account for any dirt; the second, done almost simultaneously, would be to scrub the client’s Facebook and Twitter postings.
No doubt the ever tolerant libs who run that show like suckerburg will eliminate any pro 2nd amendment talking on their sites. Hey, they’re their sites so they could pretty much write the rules to fit their agenda. All the anti crap would be allowed to further the gun control nazis goals.
Look for FB to ban all pictures of guns or ammo, or even to ban the words themselves as ‘offensive’. But, it’s their site and they can do whatever they want. If enough people get fed up and leave the site, someone will create a new one for them.........We could call it FREE REPUBLIC....................

I don’t do Facebook but my wife does and yells across the room to me whenever one of my relatives says something stupid. The only good thing to come from Facebook is that I get to learn which of my so-called friends and relatives are left wing nuts.
Same here but she only checks it on a rare occasion.

I have heard it mentioned in the past, as though it were of some significance to the pursuit of happiness for maladjusted idiots that have a inflated sense of their own being, constantly posting inane and stupid things about themselves where the entire world can read them and ridicule them.

Why, yes. A place to post the size of your morning, uh, let’s say the results of your digestive system functions. Never did, never will. I even heard of some employers being suspicious of you if you don’t have an account. Ain’t nobodies business. Although I have been told that for some it is an excellent business tool. Not for me. “Stay connected.” I’d rather stay DISconnected thank you very much. FR is just fine for me.
