I think I recall hearing that this is the exact same way the Supreme Court approved social security...administration claiming it wasn’t a tax but SCOTUS ruling it a tax and therefore ok.
We The People are just units of measure to these people.
Yes , that's true that we are units of measure to these Congresscritters , because we allow it. They take out the individuality and treat us as a commodity.
We are measured by the thousands or hundered thoudsands by a number, and listened to only as non-descript "voters" .
As in the old sci-fy program "The Prisioner", we are trapped into a community and conformity by remote controlled sentrys (think : drone )system
until we confront the control masters by invadeing them from within.
"Prisoner #6 " never accepted the control because they treated him just as a number , never with an identity as an individual.
THey took away his humanity and character .
Character and individuality matter in a republic , especially in a democratic republic ; he was considered a "Rebel " .
when treated as a number ,.. not so much !!
The program of "The Prisoner" was never commonly accepted by the TV viewing public because it was before its time .
Guess What ??
It was a pre-curseor of today !!
