Ask him what is the "ideal" average surface temperature and average air temperature.

Ask him whether a longer growing season would be beneficial or detrimental to agricultural production in latitudes north of 40^o N (where most of the world's landmass is).

Ask him what caused the climate around 1000AD to be sufficiently warm for the north of Newfoundland to support the growing of wine grapes in the Viking colony known as "Vinland."

I have no doubt, that the lack of coal- power generation plant controls in Red China, are by far, the leading cause of any man-made warming, as the particulates that escape land over the arctic territories and thereby absorb energy and thus cause some heat/melting.

It would be a wonderful thing, to see all the eco-nuts jump on Red China and other such polluters ... and the rest of us can return to using coal- power generation plants -— instead of shutting them down -— as we ought to spend money “for green” on exhaust systems instead of on Obama-cronies.

To wit: the Obama-Solyndra(sp?) money that we’ve wasted, could have been much better spent (if we must) on coal- power generation plant systems improvement.
