A General Theory of Obamacare Fiction
The New York Times ^ | February 26, 2014 | by Paul Krugman

Posted on 02/26/2014 7:46:56 PM PST by Oldeconomybuyer

Conservatives appear to be really upset that liberals are actually taking on the facts in the anti-Obamacare ads they’ve been running. How dare you question whether the people in these ads are giving an accurate picture — they’re suffering! --SNIP--

So here’s what you need to understand. The Affordable Care Act isn’t magic — it produces losers as well as winners. But it’s not black magic either, turning everyone into a loser. What the Act does is in effect to increase the burden on fortunate people — the healthy and wealthy — to lift some burdens on the less fortunate: people with chronic illnesses or other preexisting conditions, low-income workers.

I don't recall this Obamacare turd being sold as "it produces losers as well as winners."

Krugman is a POS Obama Marxist waterboy. My hemorrhoid knows more about economics than this vermin.

Steal from the rich to give to the poor. Where have we heard this before? I’ll give this to the left. They beat the class warfare card to death and sadly it works.

That jumped out at me too. I don’t remember anyone at the Times talking about losers a year ago. The permanently pissed-off Mr. Krugman is a creep and a dope.

This is the new media meme coinciding with Hairy Reid’s declaration that everyone is a liar who claims to have been adversely affected by this POS.

I saw a liberal pundit on Fox earlier tonight saying that Harry Reid is wrong about the horror stories being false.

Then she gave him a pass and said that democrats are under a lot of pressure over Obamacare.

Notice that patients are at the bottom of this Obamacare diagram. That is how they are being treated.

Actually, what the act does, Mr. Krugman, is to generate an enormous new bureaucracy which is staffed by yet another army of paper-shuffling morons sucking away on the public teat, while generating and consolidating another entire class of Americans beholden to socialism and ready to sell America down the toilet for a handful of nickels.

There's nothing that worthless piece of sh!t posted that is inaccurate or mis-characterized.

Except he omitted the most important facts.

The COST of insurance is going up for everyone, substantially, except the welfare cases.

The coverage that will be offered to seniors on Medicare will be substantially restricted by both reimbursement rates and death panels.

Since the insured were ALREADY paying for those without insurance via inflated service rates (hospitals charge you $26 for two aspirin for a reason), the increased revenues are a BONANZA for Healthcare Inc...inclusive of those evil pharmaceutical companies. Obama's Socialist supporters in the healthcare industry are going to get filthy rich. Filthy.

100's of thousands of new government workers will be added to our tax bill.

Millions of new government dependents will be created.

Wash DC gets to control, absolutely, 1/6th of the US economy...with it's attendant pressures, favors, winners and losers.

But it’s not black magic either, turning everyone into a loser...great selling point - not everyone comes out a loser - just that twenty percent or so of the population who had good insurance that they were happy with and now have to buy more expensive insurance beyond what they need or want - yessir, a legacy to be proud of.....

What the Act does is in effect to increase the burden on fortunate people — the healthy and wealthy — to lift some burdens on the less fortunate: people with chronic illnesses or other preexisting conditions, low-income workers.

Oh, winners and losers Mr. Krugman? That's not exactly what people were told - so they were lied to, period. And even so, this is complete nonsense that this is all that is wrong with it. Millions and millions of families have lost their insurance. It's gone - they aren't "lifting the burdens" on anyone. Less medical facilities available for everyone. Putting more pressure on ERs, not less. Threatening the continued existence of the majority of our emergency services (volunteer fire departments), fewer hours available for work and less jobs available overall and loss of jobs. Could go on and on and on.

Looks like this is the coordinated defense from the big "White House" meeting going between them and their left-wing allies - tell people the numerous, very real, tragedies occurring across the nation either aren't occurring at all, or, are, in fact, "good things."

Really something - this guy gets paid to write complete nonsense like this.

My hemorrhoid knows more about economics than this vermin.

However it must be noted in absolute fairness that Paul Krugman will never have a hemorrhoid. I can state this with absolute 100% accuracy because it is well known that Paul Krugman is a perfect asshole.

However, in all seriousness the fact that the likes of Paul Krugman are attacking individuals in the public about Obama Care is because they know they must attack the "little people" relative to their lies. The "big people" have the money and influence to reply. The wheels are coming off this puppy also known as OBAMA CARE.
