I imagine some of her “tears” are from the weight of her guilt.

Apparently so, and I would also think that she has yet to face her own mortality in any significant way.
Say this because I have faced mine twice now as a result of medical issues, I’ve been close to the end, and I tell you it was scary but at this same time such experience changes one’s outlook on the end.
You know now I look at death like yeah I don’t want to die, I mean who does, but when I do I’m just leaving this place, and I’m going to go see the loved ones that I lost, including the dogs that I’ve lost, and my grandma and my dad, and that is very comforting.
And in my case, it’s not just a belief that I’m going to see them, I know am. I know they are there now looking out for me while I’m here so, I’m just not so concerned about dying anymore.
Oh God. Nevermind the millions of aborted babies JANE. Nevermind.
