The War on Women Will Be the Left’s Campaign Theme — Will the GOP Be Ready?
National Review ^ | 02/27/2014 | Carrie Lukas

The Democrats’ 2014 campaign strategy should surprise no one: They don’t want voters dwelling on Obamacare’s broken promises or our unabating economic doldrums, so they are doubling down on the War on Women campaign tactic that worked so well in 2012 and in the 2013 Virginia gubernatorial contest.

The substance of the Democrats’ women agenda is an afterthought, and for good reason. There will be the expected hand wringing about the wage gap and calls for yet another round of “equal pay” legislation. Never mind that honest liberals admit the wage gap is a product of women and men’s different choices, which is why the White House itself has a “wage gap” of 12 percent. The minimum wage hike will be repackaged as a women’s issue, and progressives will trumpet new benefit mandates and childcare proposals, ignoring how these policies won’t solve – and in some cases will exacerbate – the biggest problem facing American men and women alike: the chronic lack of job opportunties.

This is correct.
Along with “economic inequality”
And funding Libertarians to split the R vote.

It’s a plan that works pretty well.

IMO the GOP should continue pointing out that the Democrats dearly loved leader, Bill Clinton, pressured on women for sexual favors. And the Democrats and the Democrat party made excuses for him in spite of the women making the accusations.

If a link can be made to Hillary protecting her husband by attacking the women who accused him of everything from propositions to outright assault, then all the better.

Maybe I'm wrong but I never heard this statement or argument made once by the Romney campaign - for the life of me I could never understand why.....

Suggested idea:

Hold an online contest to determine who loves their Mothers more:

A.) Conservative Republican Candidates for Congress; or

B.) Republicans In Name Only Candidates for Congress.

* Contestants are encouraged to document, and or comment on the love they have for their Mothers.

* Winners, by age group, will be announced on Mother’s Day, 2014.

Note: War on Women Democrats and others who have been known to play the Sex-Card are not allowed to participate in any part of this contest.

The government is keeping track of the internet. They don’t need to see the contents of your e-mails. They can just provide the Democrat party with a list of the sites you visit. They can figure out if you are a Republican or Democrat. This would save the Democrats lots of money. No campaign mailings money spent sending material to Republicans.

No doubt this is why Rand Paul is out there shouting his “Bill Clinton is a Sexual Predator” meme.

At least Sen. Paul understands the Dem tactic.

"No doubt this is why Rand Paul is out there shouting his “Bill Clinton is a Sexual Predator” meme."

I agree completely. I think this helps to inoculate Republicans against the phony "war on women" When ever this is brought up, they can simply go on offense and talk about how the Democrats have actually waged wars on women. It's irritating to me to hear Republicans criticizing Paul for this.
