RUSH: I'm gonna tell you something gonna be interesting to watch out there, folks. I have this story right here in my formerly nicotine-stained fingers. It is from the Associated Press. "A US appeals court..." That would be the US Ninth Circus Court of Appeals. "A US appeals court ordered YouTube," owned by Google, loved by the Regime. Google and Regime are inseparable, except -- except -- the Ninth Circus has ordered Google, through its YouTube subsidiary, "to take down an anti-Muslim film that sparked violence in many parts of the Middle East and death threats to the actors."
What's this? A business, Google, can be forced not to serve a customer -- that would be the YouTube uploader here -- because it might offend somebody's religious beliefs? This is a perfect example. I'm gonna spell this out for you. Just hang in there, because this is a perfect example of how some religious beliefs are more equal than other religious beliefs. You have a business here, Google.
They are now being forced by the government not to serve a customer, the YouTube uploader, the video maker, because it might offend someone's religious beliefs, and the Ninth Circus is basing this on an actress who's only in the movie for five seconds, in a trumped-up lawsuit. It has nothing to do with that, however. Even the Ninth Circus admits this isn't the way the Digital Millennium Copyright Act takedown orders work. Here's why this is happening.
President Obama told the UN back in February of 2012, quote, "The future does not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam," quote/unquote. That's Obama two years ago at the UN in September. Google says they're gonna fight this all the way to the Supreme Court. They don't want the government telling them what they can and can't upload --especially when they're Google. They're blue and the Regime is blue. So we got a little blue-on-blue action here, and it's gonna be fun to watch this.
"YouTube resisted calls by President Barack Obama and other world leaders to take down the video, arguing that to do so amounted to unwarranted government censorship and would violate the Google-owned company's free speech protections." Google says: Hey, you want to post something on YouTube? As long as you own the rights to it, have at it. We have freedom here.
But here comes the Regime. Ah, ah, ah, ah! As Obama said, "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. Even you, Sergey, and even you, Larry!" That's Sergey Brin and Larry Page, the founders.

They have made their decision, now let them enforce it.
It was just an excuse anyway.
in a copyright case with the right evidence, the court can award copyright damages if they wish, but they cannot stop publication
i mean they cannot pre-censor and they cannot practically remove anything from the world wide web
bunch of dumb schmucks dont know how that will affect their public IMAGE ......oh well
NO ONE is above having their lunch fed to them for acting like a jerk
these people are NOT too big to fail
One can denigrate and slander Christianity, but don’t, don’t ever, ever, even appear to be slandering Islam;
ever.

IMHO
So have copies of the file been removed from YouTube pending the appeal of the verdict, or does it stay up pending the appeal? I can’t find it. I watched it previously at the beginning of the controversy, but didn’t bookmark it. Now when I search for “The Innocence of Muslims” at YouTube, all I find so far are responses.
The film itself rather bored me, but this is an important freedom-of-speech issue. Other religions are subject to criticism and satire. Islam should be too. Anybody have a YouTube link to the film?
“copies of the file” should be “copies of the film”

lots of bits and pieces on this spanish language site, dubbed in english...
Monson and the Twelve will be watching this case VERY closely...
the two spanish langauge sites I posted the link to are still there. It’s Youtube - dubbed in english. I’m aware the orginal has been removed. I posted two ALTERNATIVES
Thanks for trying to give us access to the film (and I understand Spanish, by the way), but apparently we’re not understanding each other. Are you in a U.S. domain? When I access the link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXwbwu8F8rI&bpctr=1393558071 — “Mohamad Movie Trailer 2 Espanol”) and also the link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xx3gvPSH0bk — Parodia a Mahoma - Demasiado Tarde con Nicolas Copano), I get the screen with the message I posted. It appears that people in different countries are seeing different things.
I am in Australia.
That’s funny, I’m allowed to see it and you’re not.
Methinks it’s been removed to protect the woman who would be president if she could be. The whole video story was a load of BS.
1st Amendment Violation!
So if Christians responded with violence to the incessant offensive blasphemous material the media spews out, then the 9th would also ban it?
It's called Editorializing...
Your information PROVIDER decides what OU get access to...
It doesn't happen in THIS country! /s
