How can Democrats lie like this without being totally embarrassed?

Shameless.

The Obama Administration and other Democrats in Congress are embarrassing this nation with their lies, deception and political spin. This is not about being a Republican or Democrat, or a conservative or liberal. This is not about being black or white or non-white.

This is about being a citizen of the United States of America!

I receive calls to my radio show regularly from people who came to this country from another country. They consistently tell me that people all over the world want the freedoms that we have. But we are letting them slip away.

They see this administration and the bureaucracy, some of which it inherited, going the way of trying to become imperial dictators much like the countries they left. They see too many Americans clueless about the gradual take-away and intimidation of our liberties. But they also see an America that's not too far gone to make a serious correction in our direction.

One of the first really scary things I noticed about Obama -- something which sets him apart from the Clintons --

He lies.
You know he's lying.
He knows that you know that he's lying.
And he doesn't care at all.

That's remarkable.

When you destroy morality it frees you up for all kinds of immoral acts. Since the base is largely immoral, they understand that lying is just what ya gotta do sometimes.

I saw a liberal pundit yesterday who agreed that Harry Reid was wrong to call people liars but she excused it because the democrats are under a lot of pressure over Obamacare. I’m sure she would have blamed republicans for it if she had continued speaking.

As far back as 2008, at the presidential debate in Nashville, Democrat candidate Obama advanced his signature plan that was ultimately enacted (by an historic straight Democrat party-line vote) into the "Affordable Care Act:

OBAMA: "No. 1, let me just repeat, if you’ve got a health care plan that you like, you can keep it. All I’m going to do is help you to lower the premiums on it. You’ll still have choice of doctor.”

Repeated over and over ---- with the promise that every American would be saving $2500.00 on healthcare costs.

DEMOCRATS CHIME IN:

SEN. HARRY REID (D-Nev.): “In fact, one of our core principles is that if you like the health care you have, you can keep it.” (Sen. Reid, Congressional Record, S.8642, 8/3/09)

SEN. RICHARD DURBIN: “We believe — and we stand by this — if you like your current health insurance plan, you will be able to keep it, plain and simple, straightforward.” (Sen. Durbin, Congressional Record, S.6401, 6/10/09)

That was an expression of liberalism in 1910. In the Nineteen Twenties intellectuals and journalists inverted the meaning of the word "liberal" to the meaning we are galled by today. Since journalists and intellectuals don't do anything, but have plenty to say critical of "the man in the arena," they do not take kindly to the implication that the doer of deeds is superior to the intellectual and the journalist. What has been called "liberalism" since the beginning of the FDR Administration is best summarized as

Nothing actually matters except Pr.

So long as journalists successfully make good on that boast, American democracy will remain an international laughing stock.

They sleep at night because for them, lies are the truth.

That is because the truth is whatever they believe and whatever their agenda and objectives are - near or far. A lie then is good and “right” - a step in the right - er left - direction.

After a commie (with a lifetime of masquerading as a flag-waving, patriotic American) inadvertently and matter-of-factly told me that the purpose in life and politics is power, the dots connected. Sure explains why totalitarians end up committing mass murder, and why they think nothing of it.

Talk about a psychology/pathology from the pit of hell.
