Assuming this ultimatum is real, I’d like to see the faces behind these 635 ‘big’ businesses and the Chamber as well. I’d be interested is there are any common denominators here.
Big Business likes Facsism. Guarantees market share, stable prices and profits. Suppresses competition from the little guys, who don't have a voice in the corridors of power and get strangled by regulation.
Facsism is a comfortable way to do business. You don't have to compete anymore, just operate. The Krupps, Thyssens, Agnellis, etc. could all tell you how well it worked.
