There are 12 Democrats who won’t sign Pelosi’s discharge petition and only 20 Republicans who’ve signed up to house leadership’s guidelines.

I have no doubt they will try to pass amnesty in 2015 which is why McConnell needs to be punished and some of Boehner’s buddies.

201 'Rats, minus 12, plus 20 GOP = 209 for immigration reform. 232 GOP, minus 20, plus 12 'Rats = 224 against it (+2 vacancies).

I have no doubt they will try to pass amnesty in 2015 which is why McConnell needs to be punished and some of Boehner’s buddies.

They might be figuring that 2015 is too late. Any Democrat losses and/or Tea Party gains would mitigate against the prospect.

2014...or a lame duck session after the election... could be their last chance to sneak it through. But they need eight more votes...
