Blacks are a bigger % of MS's population in 2010 than they were in 2000. If there's any genocide here, it's that of the white population. The difference between blacks and whites is that whites practice contraception before conception whereas blacks practice it afterwards, via abortion. Blacks have children earlier and have more of them. That is why in MS, the white % dropped 2% whereas the black % rose 1% in the 2000 to 2010 decade. Here are the census stats for various racial and ethnic groups by state for about as long as they've been collated. Recent total fertility rates by race/ethnicity.
“The difference between blacks and whites is that whites practice contraception before conception whereas blacks practice it afterwards, via abortion.”
This is a national phenomenon (actually all over the civilized West); remember the news story about more white Americans dying than being born a couple of years ago? For decades white Americans have convinced themselves some other white people would sacrifice to produce the next generation of “Americans”; they were sorely mistaken. Living in a state that is mostly “white” on paper (NJ - our urban toilets are actually not much of the state, and our racial breakdown is probably comparable to the national averages), I can assure you that whites are disappearing quickly. Any projection about them being a minority by 2050 is nonsense (probably based on 1980 birthrates) designed to prevent a panic and/or reaction; as blacks learned after the 2000 census (when Hispanics had passed them in numbers ten years earlier than projected), whites will learn the same around 2020.
Good information. It is good to have the real data instead of perceptions. Here are the graphics:

The out-of-wedlock-birthrates are troubling.
