Hours before Republican Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer vetoed the controversial "religious freedom" bill on Wednesday that would have allowed businesses to refuse service to individuals, including gays and lesbians, based on religious grounds, the NFL started exploring options to potentially move the 2015 Super Bowl from Arizona if Brewer signed the law.

I have an old Barry Sanders jersey that I’m not burning.
They won’t. They got rid of Tim Tebow pretty easily.
I’m waiting for people to wake up and read that bill...it had nothing to do with gays and everything to do with protecting religious freedom. When that comes out, the NFL will stand ther holding the anti-religion bag. I can’t believe how much power the press has...they totally misrepresented this bill and got away with it ( again). We need to start asking the NFL and those corporations why they are anti-religious. Jan Brewer should have not caved in using content of the bill as proof of her being correct.
They just lost me but really the did a long time ago. I watch the soft redskins some but they give 50% effort since the simple Dan took over. So why should I care, the team doesnt.

The packers name would have to be taken from Green Bay and given to San Francisco!
The NFL consumers/fan base is the largest in pro US sports by far. They have gamblers, the fantasy guys, and those are industries in themselves. It has a super lucrative and popular farm system where the players play for free. It has the fans who like the fruity glitziness and popularity who buy all the jerseys and the shrinking number of fans who actually like the game itself, but maybe not the direction it has taken in the last decade or so. It kind of makes sense when you think about it. Nothing is going to happen to the NFL, its bulletproof in large part by the nature of the fan base. It drives sports media by far in the US, which looking at the quality of the product isnt that surprising when you look around at the state of things.

Well they made the threat, so of course they explored the options, were exploring them before they made the threat.
I guess that’s an example of how much I pay attention to trivia, like sports...
Think it’s a coinkydink that the two moist liberal, homo loving cities in the country played for the NFC championship this year? And the teams in states where pot is legal played for the superbowl? The NFL is becoming a political tool for the left, and I for one will no longer support it.
The NFL hired Penn & Teller for pre-game entertainment after they famously mocked the crucifixion of Jesus.
...watch out...for some reason, there exists a significant number of Penn&Teller fans on this forum...
