(Memphis) The Memphis Police Association says it will seek legal action against the City of Memphis unless three officers are returned to the union office.
A letter was just sent to city attorney Herman Morris.
Yesterday, the head of the Memphis police union and two other union leaders were told they must return to active police duty.

Taxpayers should not be paying these guys, let the union members pay them.

Always worrisome when a PE union thug brings God into the discussion. I don’t like PE unions, but so long as they exist, they need to do their union business on their own nickel and not the taxpayers. The idea that this guy is being paid to be a cop,but doesn’t feel obliged to work as one is disgraceful, but it happens with all union leaders public and private.
