On February 27 Breitbart News reported Representative Carolyn B. Maloney (D-NY) and Senator Ed Markey (D-MA) were asking Obama for "$10 million" in funding so that gun violence research could start moving forward.
But a report the Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC)--released February 26--shows that gun violence research has been booming apart from and without federal funding. In other words, it is inaccurate to claim that research will flounder or never start unless tax-payer monies are used to fund it.

They are saying the research will flounder if they don’t get the money? Sounds fishy to me.
Money for already existing gun studies = tax payer campaign funds for dems in tight races.
If you cast a net far enough............
I can write the study’s conclusion now: “All guns are owned by hundreds of thousands of right wing, Christian psychopaths who, when they’re not committing mass murders, which they do daily, are passing out loaded firearms to children to play with.” There-saved them a butt load of money.

Let’s be truthful here...
Gun research = funding for the anti-gun propaganda machine
Did you pun on porpoise?
If they were serious then all they needed to do was read John Lotts book, More Guns Less Crime.
Natalie Foster on the mainstream medias obsession with crazed killers
February 27, 2014
The political commentary segments from the NRA are masterfully done.
This one from Natalie Foster is very good.
One line early on that caught my ear: I can name five mass murderers off the top of my head but I couldnt name five of their victims if I tried.
The media becomes complicit in the next tragedy, she said.
She asks why the surviving Boston terrorist bomber rated a cover photo on Rolling Stone magazine.
She notes that we are rewarding these killers with the immortality that they are seeking.
Thats why, here at Guns Save Life, we will not publish the names of spree killers. Were reluctant to publish their likeness unless its to ridicule them.
Watch the video. Its good.

Yeah, but you know as well as I do that a lie gets half way around the world while the truth is still puttin’ it’s pants on. Was that Mark Twain?

It will cost us 10 million to get the answer THEY are looking for.
Saw it yesterday but didn’t want to post it since it’s such a load of crap from a hopolophobe. (Is that right? Persons terrified of inanimate objects?) Not to mention an assault on my fragile ego. Maybe I should be offended.
LOL! Okay, I checked out your comments. The were a bit ascerbic, unkind, dis-compassionate, hurtful and mean spirited. In other words, I liked your comments. Did you send them to the illustrious prof? Or is he one of those people you just can’t seem to be able to contact.

And why should Dems be allowed to pay for research dealing with Constitutional rights, anyway? You know if they’re paying for the research, the problem is going to end up being that there’s some right they haven’t violated yet. Why should people with real brains and real jobs have to pay for that crap?
