Interesting statement.

I live in another part of the state now, but 30 years ago I lived in the bush, and was struck by the high rate of crime, specifically incest within the aboriginal population.

Can’t get away from ugliness wherever you go.

Some villages are pretty bad, we live 2 miles from a pretty good village. Yet, I know Indians from some of the worse villages and I get along fine with them. Vast majority of Native problems are alcohol related or clash of our cultures, or better yet the fact that our White Culture is replacing their Indian Culture. Wife and I have taught in a couple villages. First year where we were the hated Whites, the no good dirty Whites, the Gasuches was somewhat of a shock; but it did me good. Everybody should be the hated minority at least once in their life.

With Indians, it's how you respect their cultural ways, and there are many good ones too. They then respect you too, but Indians are not criminal in nature. You would never see what's going on in our cities if Indians were there.

I have seen the incest also, have seen the rapes within inlaws go unreported, and the FAS; but it's way better than it use to be. I don't think it's improving in our cities. There is a big difference how Canada deals with their Native Population and how USA does. Canada forces Indians into job training programs, after 30 years there is a big improvement, but here in USA the govt money continues to buy alcohol, the genocide continues, no joke. I've helped bury too many local Indian friends.
