One thing we must be perfectly clear on is that we favor legal immigration. I am a third generation person myself. Many of the best Americans we have are new arrivals. Many who come, suffered much before coming here. Often, they have an appreciation for America that the native born don’t have. I am thinking of a lot Eastern Europeans and others who fled communism or tyranny in their native countries. So, they are very different from those who come here illegally and collect public charity.

I think it would be good if Clay Aitken defeated Renee Ellmers and in 2016 a conservative took the seat. Some of these RINOs want to stay in congress for a decade and they won’t if they pass amnesty.

Grassroots activists around the country are now going to make sure there’s an anti-amnesty independent candidate on the general election ballot, in case GOP incumbents sell out after the primaries.
