I has similar thoughts yesterday morning. What if Russia, China, North Korea, Iran and a few others decide all at one time to challenge The One? China looks to be the big winner. Obama sent a pretty clear signal to Japan and Taiwan that they're on their own. And while Putin's attention is way to the west, China just might decide that the time is ripe to "take back" the Russian Far East that the Manchu emperors ceded to the Russian Czars in the 19th century.

Exactly right. It’s sad that normal citizens can out think these overpaid government stooges.

Heres a decisive move tell the Ukrainians to get along without the Crimea and some of their eastern provinces. Should have been done back in 94, instead of that ridiculous Budapest Memorandum.

Yeah..I heard a Chinese Admiral said that there will be blood. We are just making all kinds of friends and admirers with our great "diplomacy", heh?
If nothing else..it's probably about time for the Far-east to announce that they don't like our currency anymore. That's been in the works for a while to combat the failing global speculation merry-go-round.
Buckle up.

Anyone read Marco asking for Congress to declare war, start the draft, and get Rosie the Riveter building ships and planes? or is this all just trolling for votes?

Rubio has been craving to be the neocon’s boy in 2016. He’s a typical chickenhawk. Something about him is creepy, in a Lindsay Graham sort of way.

It’s intended more as a bargaining chip. But I doubt Putin would be persuaded by anything not involving a credible threat to use force. I think his armed forces are much more vulnerable to attack than he suspects, and we may be about to find out.

Rubio and Cruz are both turning the silly up to 11 on this “crisis”, just to look “tougher” than Obozo. Boycotting the G8 is as impotent as Carter boycotting the 1980 Moscow Olympics.
To: Mariner
Also-- when a great power like the US behaves as fecklessly as the current administration, it quite often finds out too late that lesser powers are quite capable of acting on their own to create a situation that sucks in the great power despite its wriggling to avoid it.
Obama's cowardice isn't a choice for peace, it's a choice for war under circumstances that we do not choose and where the situation may be decidedly against us.

Maybe Rubio can come up with a clear path to citizenship for our illegals .... that includes 5 years in the military fighting in Ukraine.
